Harriet eventually accepted a part time job in the store and when the owner retired Rachel purchased it Lifestyles Giftware carries items for men, women, children, and pets. You can pick up that perfect birthday, anniversary, or wedding gift. Don't show up empty handed for the hostess or just treat yourself. Shop clothing, accessories, bed, bath and body, candles, home goods, kitchen items, and stationary. They carry brands Pampa Bay, Golden Rabbit, Mud Pie, Britto, and Mariposa to name just a few. My favorite items included a dog print makeup bag, the elegant serving dishes, adorable salt and pepper shakers, and lovely glass perfume bottles. I had the matching futon too. Twenty five years later I no longer sleep on a futon and my taste in furniture no longer includes papasan chairs. Pier One is not really one of my favorite stores. I think the prices are high for the products they sell. I was cleaning out my wallet and I found a gift card I received for Xmas. I know they usually have a good candle selection and I can never have to many candles, so off I went. My intention was to run in and buy a candle and leave quickly. That didn't happen because I loved this store so much, I spent a good half hour browsing through the store. And I didn't think they were overpriced at all. In fact I thought the prices were fairly reasonable. I love a good bargain and they had a lot of clearance items in addition to 20% off tons of different things. They have a huge selection of throw pillows, lamps, tableware, candles, trays, papasan chairs, furniture, wine glasses and just so much more. The lighting is dimmed and the store is loaded with various displays set up randomly throughout the store. I had a lot of fun shopping here. I wound up purchasing two very large peach ginger scented candles. They were originally priced at $16.99 each but I found them on a clearance table for just $9.99! I also picked up a simple but pretty glass tray to place the candle on. The two employees I dealt with were both professional and they really wanted to help. I love great customer service and this store nailed it. If I can change one thing it would be to brighten up the store a bit. The dim lighting made shopping a little difficult but luckily I was able to use my flashlight that's on my phone to help me see. The checkout process was smooth. And I received a 20% off coupon for my next visit too. I regret staying away for so long because Pier One is a fantastic store. I definitely will be coming back here to shop for myself as well as to shop for gifts for family and friends. Check out the clearance tables when you go, they have great items drastically reduced. And who doesn't love a bargain?

We bought a Breville coffee pot from the Sur La Table in West Palm Beach earlier this week and…read moreafter putting it together, it was not functioning. My wife called Breville and they told her it was malfunctioning and to bring it back as the water didn't heat and it didn't drip. We attempted to return it to the Sur La Table in Mizner Park in Boca Raton with the original purchase receipt from West Palm Beach. The manager of the Boca Raton store, Anastasia said that since it was opened and used that she would not be able to issue a credit throughout credit card account, but could exchange it or give us an in store credit. This is contrary to what was printed on the receipt. From other stores, we have made a purchase at one store and returned it to another of their stores. Recently, we purchased something from Tommy Bahama when we were in Sarasota and was able to return it to the Tommy Bahama in the Boca Raton mall. There was no issue as we had the original receipt. Why did we get a hard time returning a defective coffee maker to another Sur La Table? We tried setting up the coffee maker but we never were able to use it as it didn't work. We now have to make another trip to West Palm Beach to return the coffee maker to the Sur La Table that we purchased it from within the 30 day return period. This is a big inconvenience to us. We will be telling our friends and neighbors about this experience at the Boca Raton Sur La Table. We no longer will shop at Sur La Table.

Anastasia, the manager said that since it was opened & used they can't give me money back on my credit card. They would give me a gift card or an exchange. I argued with her that I couldn't use it that if I could've used it, I would've kept it. Anastasia, the manager went through every item and checked the serial numbers with the numbers on the box and then had real difficulty putting it all back together again. Now that I understand Sur La Table does not take defective items back with the receipt in the original packaging two days after purchase - I WILl NOT SHOP HERE Again!!!! I have spread the word and told my friends and neighbors on next-door! It's a shame I love to cook, and I was a regular with this being my go to store!
