After having several large limbs fall off our large Pecan trees, one landing on a friend's car, we…read morehad to get some tree trimming done. We called and made appointments with 4 different companies. Stewart was great, explained everything, why, what, etc. He wasn't the cheapest, but I felt like he was going to give us the best for our money, and you could tell he genuinely loved what he does. We discussed the sod we would be having put in and Stewart told us he was bringing a boom truck so the trees needed to get cut first. So 2 days after we got our estimate, we called and said put us on the schedule. There had been several storms roll through and the first hurricane, so he informed us they were busy with storm debris and it would be a few weeks. This was the beginning of Sept. Then the next hurricane rolled through and we assumed he was busy with storm debris, I was ok being pushed back slightly. By mid Oct we called to find our a timeline and were told a few more weeks. Appt set for mid Nov. Received a call the night before, no, we won't be there until next week. The following week (week sod is to be put in which has now been put off) we get a call the morning they are to arrive saying it will be next week. The longer this gets pushed off (now it's December) the longer I have to wait on sod, which means my house is muddy every time it rains. Finally, 2 months after we scheduled our tree trimming, we get a call saying Stewart was going to come and mark the tress for his crew to come later that day. Around 3:15 several men and a chipper truck showed up. They set about cutting my trees, however there was no boom truck, there never was a boom truck or any equipment in my yard other than men, chainsaws, and ropes as this man climbed the tree, which we later found out he was a freelancer and not part of Frady's. So once the trees were finally cut we called the landscaper to order sod, but it's almost mid Dec. and by the time it arrived, we had seen our first snow of the year, so we couldn't get our yard put in in the fall like we had planned and discussed with Stewart. When he came to collect the amount we agreed upon (for heavy equip use) he refused to give us a discount as they didn't bring the heavy equipment (though it was quoted in the price), therefore it was able to be used elsewhere on another job (so he made money off 1 piece of equipment doing 2 jobs. He also didn't seem fazed when my husband informed him due to waiting 2 months for him, we won't be getting sod until spring and had to wait another 3 months. Sounded great, but execution (apparently AT&T who has more money than I takes precedence and my needs don't matter) wasn't there and he didn't offer any kind of apology or discount (why did I have to pay for equipment reserved for my job, only to not have it even there or used) for the delay or inconvenience. It wasn't my fault or that of the weather that he couldn't get to me. I gave him adequate time and patience. I would of even been ok had he informed us they were not going to use the heavy equip so I could have had my yard put in prior to the trees, but he instructed us to wait because the machines were going to destroy the new grass.

I was extremely pleased with the service we received from Frady's! They were on time, professional…read more& fast! The price was fair and they left our property clean and did a thorough job! Thumbs up to Kelly, Stewart & crew!
