One of my favorite days of the year is when Dan and his Cutters team come and do the annual tree clean up. They are a delight, bring so much joyful efficient energy. The trees on our lot and everything just looks beautiful and like it can breathe happier after they are here. I had reached out about a tree trimming and laying down some trees that have passed. Dan as always is so responsive. He came a took a look. I was a bit behind and had not reached out to schedule an appointment in the following month and a half. When to my delight he texted and said they were in the area would we like to do it midday. Fabulous to have something up and take itself off a long to do list. Our trees look so pretty and like they are not overcrowded with branches. Plus they help our canopy trees that are very tall but try to grow branches the rest of the way down that would compromise the health and nutrition going to the top of the tree. Very happy as always! Original review We reached out to Dan for a quote to have a few trees cleaned up and removed. We love the trees on our new property and wanted to give them the TLC they needed to thrive. In the decade prior, the trees had not been properly trimmed or maintained. We hired Cutters Unlimited. They book about 1-2 months in advance. They were very helpful when we had to wait to book due to another remodeling project finishing. Dan was so incredibly helpful in advising which trees were crowded, which were struggling and what we should do. He respected and worked with us to preserve and cultivate a better habitat for the trees. He also advised what we should remove as they were too close to our house, well or another tree. He is very knowledgeable on tree species and things like root systems. I wanted to make sure the root systems would not hurt parts of our home they were near. Dan is incredibly responsive. He always responds quickly and when he says he will be somewhere he is. I was so impressed by Dan's crew. They worked like a professional league sports team or in their case tree cutting & maintenance league. They showed up on time/early. Set up their trucks along the street and did not park on any neighbors yard only the street. They all had their tasks and were off to it. I sincerely appreciated their care when parking in front of neighbor's homes or using the driveway they were okayed to use. The team all had proper safety gear on and took care. Given how dangerous tree trimming can be this was wonderful to see how seriously they take safety. Had a lovely morning watching all their great work and enjoyed the product of their labors afterwards. Our home and trees look beautiful. We could not be happier with our experience and the results. I would go out of my way to recommend Cutters Unlimited, LLC. We had a very positive experience and we will use them again for our property's tree needs.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience. We hired them to take down a single tree…read moreand specifically asked that the stump be cut as close to the ground as possible. It was left much too high, and when I asked for it to be shaved down further, I was told they couldn't. On top of that, they caused additional damage -- tearing up parts of our lawn while dragging the tree, leaving giant marks across the sidewalk, and even leaving a branch hanging in another tree. The cleanup was careless at best. They left our trash can on the neighbor's lawn, blew wood shavings all over our newly seeded grass (potentially ruining a lot of the seed we just put down), and blew debris across the street into another neighbor's lawn. Ironically, despite all that blowing, they left a huge pile of shavings right by the stump itself. I ended up spending 1 hour and 10 minutes cutting the stump lower myself with a pole saw, another 20 minutes reseeding the damaged lawn, and time cleaning up properly so the street could be swept. I reached out to the salesperson afterward, and he said he could send someone back out to check/clean up. But by that point, I had no trust that they wouldn't make things even worse. Overall, the lack of care, professionalism, and responsibility left me very disappointed. I would advise others to look elsewhere for tree work. Adding: was told by the owner that they don't typically take projects under $1000, as if they did me a favor. So don't bother quoting with them on single, medium trees or trimming.

The techs that were there to trim several trees didn't know which trees to trim and were complaining about their manager in front of me. They did an over decent job but left my property before I had a chance to make sure that they didn't forget anything or everything was done to my satisfaction. I informed the area manager (Zach) about this March 2025. I went ahead and paid my $1200 invoice (which I will never do again until work is done that is supposed to be ). I told Zach about this error and a few trees that weren't touched on the side of my house and in the back this was again March 2025. Here it is MONTHS later! I have reached out to Zach at least 4 times since then the last time we texted he didn't bother to respond LESSON LEARNED! I WILL NEVER USE THE TREE SERVICE AGAIN! and NEVER PAY FOR AN INVOICE UNTIL THE WORK IS DONE TO MY SATISFACTION! I PAID AROUND $1300 INCLUDING THE DEPOSIT THEY TOOK END OF 2024.
