After temporary piping repairs and we ran fans for a week with extra heat going before the ceiling downstairs finally dried. We've had insurance claims before but mostly exterior and roofing. That usually involves 1 or 2 skill trades handled by your roofer. This was very different. We knew repairs would involve flooring, cabinetry, sheetrock, additional plumbing, ceiling resurfacing along with painting. I was a bit overwhelmed. After expressing concerns with my Travelers Insurance adjuster he recommended a complete restoration service through Westhill Global. That led us to a local company, GWC Restoration. Daniel put us at ease after assessing the repairs needed. He was very patient with us carefully explaining the complex claims documents as well as delaying start until our son moved from upstairs. Daniel handled everything including the flooring installers from Madison Flooring and Paint. The finished product looks great. We highly recommend Daniel Cantor at GWC. In Nov 2020, they removed my cabinets and countertops, citing a 3 week job. In April 2021, I still didn't have a kitchen. They left my home in a disaster, exhibited poor quality workmanship, and did not honor quoted prices, even marking up materials from the "big box" stores, which I offered to buy myself. Word to the wise: be sure to get everything in writing before you let them begin work should you choose to work with this company. Lots of lessons learned throughout this process. But finally have my home back in working order after having a reputable company come in to replace all door jambs after they were sawed off 1", have my stone fireplace rebuilt (since they only caulked it back together), and repainted all baseboards since they were spot painted (with the wrong color)- none of which were the actual jobs SPC were hired to complete, just $4K of damage they did during the process of correcting my home. Save yourself the headache and get someone who is honest and reliable.

In the latest incident, one of our properties had a septic drain problem. We had several plumbers and septic tank pumping services out to try to resolve the issue. None of these individuals performed any services that made a difference with the drainage problems. I finally called Roto-Rooter and they sent Bryan out. He took one look and knew exactly what needed to be done. He spent about 30 minutes in the pouring freezing rain with an auger and promptly resolved the issue. After spending over $1,000.00 on various plumbers and septic services over the last two weeks, all it took was a call to Bryan, about 30 minutes of his time, and about $150 for his effort and the problem was quickly resolved. Its not often that I don't have at least something negative to say about a company on yelp. For Bryan and Roto-Rooter there are no negatives. Exceptional work!!
