What a nightmare this has been: The technician showed up and started working on the plumbing without knowing where the shutoff was, or trying to shut it off. Water was spraying over my kitchen for several minutes and I had to grab countless towels while he went outside and tried to find the shutoff. He then cut himself, and was bleeding all over my kitchen, for which I gave him more towels. He then told me that my garbage disposal was broken, and told me I had to go to Home Depot and buy another, and pay for the install in addition to the job I already paid them for. Interestingly, my disposal worked perfectly fine before they arrived. Somehow, it was broken within the one hour job. Things went even more downhill from there: 1) A few days later, the plumbing sprung a leak. I called Best Care and they sent the same guy back. He said that he installed the Ptrap backwards (how is that possible?) 2) A few months later, the water shutoff valves he installed sprung an undetected leak in my cabinets, and I now have destroyed cabinet wood and mold throughout. 3) A few months later, the drain pipe from my sink completely fell off while running the garbage disposal (also how is that possible?) and water sprayed out into my kitchen cabinets and floors. Not to mention their plumber gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him directly for "better prices". Having Best Care do work in my house was probably the singe biggest mistake I have made as a home owner. Please avoid at all costs

He would say he would be at my house on a certain day/time but then he would not show or call or text to say why. I would have to initiate when he would be there. I have repeatedly asked for a refund of the deposit and have been more than accommodating to his situation; however, this is not a way to run a business or treat a person. His price was lowest of the bids I received and I hired him for the job. Almost immediately I started regretting it. After paying him $1000 up front to purchase paint and supplies, he then no showed for several days. Eventually he responded to my texts and said he had run out of money to purchase a paint sprayer and was working other jobs to get enough money for that. Supplies for this job wouldn't have cost anywhere near the $1000 I paid him. He had previously told me he had a paint sprayer and had painted at least one other house before. After work finally began it became very obvious that he did not know what he was doing. I repeatedly told him to arrive in the early mornings to paint as the daily temps were almost 100 degrees each day. He agreed but not once did he ever start work early - many days did not even arrive until afternoon. Then he wanted another $1000 because he didn't buy enough paint in the beginning and had no money to purchase more. At this point the painting was about 1/2 - 2/3 finished and wouldn't take more than 2 or 3 gallons of paint. I refused initially but since the job was taking so long, gave him another $500. He became upset on more than one occasion, raising his voice and arguing with me. Then since I didn't give him the entire $1000 he wanted, he did not speak to me at all and I never knew when he would show up to work. It took about 3 weeks for him to do this job when everyone else who bid told me they would do it in 3 days. Also, he finished in the evening when I couldn't do a thorough check on his work. I even paid him extra because he was clearly in over his head and frustrated. The following day I found several problems with the paint job he did, including missing spots and paint overspray on my fence. Contacted him again and he said he would return to fix - twice he said he'd be here and never showed up. I have given him every opportunity to make this job right. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIRING HIM!
