The area next to the steps and along the front of the house needed a retaining wall to hold the soil and clean up the slope. Their crew came out, walked the space with me, and explained how they would build the wall and shape the curve so it would look natural with the yard and the house. They also talked about the base and drainage so it would hold up long-term. The work itself was done efficiently and the crew was easy to work with. They prepped the base, set the blocks carefully, and made sure the curve of the wall flowed nicely along the front of the yard instead of just building a straight line. They kept the job site pretty clean and checked in along the way to make sure everything looked right. The finished wall looks great and really improves the front of the house. It's solid, level, and the curve gives the landscaping a much cleaner look than what was there before. Overall, a very positive experience. Ray came out on a weekend to review the project, made some helpful suggestions, was very polite, on-time and said he would provide a quote within a couple of days. His quote came in and it was a fair estimate of what I thought it would cost. We scheduled him to do the work. He sourced new bougainvillea plants from his nursery and re potted all 12 plants with new soil. One pot was broken so he took that back to his shop to fix it. He also checked each irrigation line in each pot and replaced or repaired as necessary. He also changed the battery in the irrigation system to make sure everything was working properly. Anything I asked him to do he said "no problem" and responded quickly. We are definitely going to use this service again.

He told me his company mainly does masonry. We scheduled an appointment for Wednesday, and he asked me to text him with my address. I did so and asked him to acknowledge that he received it, but I never received a response. On Monday, August 3, I called to confirm the appointment. He told me again to text him with the address. I explained that I had already sent it. He then said, "I'm going to hang up now. I will check it." The next day, August 4, he called me, but I missed the call. When I called back, he said his name is George. I asked whether he had called me, and he said he was not sure and that it may have been a pocket call. When I asked what company he was calling from, he hung up on me. On Wednesday, August 5, he called again asking for my address and said he was already in my area. Since I had spoken with him several times, I recognized his voice and mentioned that someone named George had hung up on me the day before. He said George is his English name. He then yelled that he does not check text messages on Saturday and screamed, "Do you still want the service or not?" I found the tone and behavior unprofessional, so I ended the call. He called back again afterward. Overall, my experience was very disappointing. The communication was inconsistent, the appointment was not properly confirmed, and the phone interactions made me uncomfortable. Based on this experience, I would not hire this company. I also question how reliable the five-star ratings are, because my experience did not match the positive reviews I saw online.
