There are many ways to protect yourself, and not all of them require the use of a gun -- sometimes common sense along with sage advice are your best offense AND defense. There are shorter classes out there to get your license, but the information gained in this class provides knowledge everyone should gain. I probably have 10,000+ rounds down range with David as my instructor. It was worth every penny. He also gives discounts for students who would like to repeat a class. It encourages continuous learning. David not only teach classes but he is also a lifelong student. David takes firearms classes to learn and become a better instructor. He is a scholar practitioner of firearms. His favorite instructors are Massad Ayoob, Tom Givens and John Farnum. Overall, the classes exceeded my expectations. They are advanced, detail oriented and precise. Learning how to troubleshoot sight alignment, grip and stance on the fly helped me a lot. Other exercises such as the blind swordsman, weak hand, double bill drill, Isosceles, Weaver and Chapman, etc. are intended to both challenge and improve the skills of the student. Live fire on the range is great fun. It is safe if you follow the safety rules. So, don't show up for class if you want to do your own thing. Stay home, save money and ammunition if you're not serious. If not, well don't be surprised if David yells the 7 things you can't say on network television. You take classes to learn and David Maglio can help you become better. David Maglio comes highly recommended, so just take his class and have fun!

Was here recently as a new firearm owner. I wanted to shoot 3 of my handguns. There were two people…read moreworking the front when I arrived. Everything went smoothly with one of their associates I wish I knew his name. I told him I wanted to sight in one of my handguns and he informed his associate who was coming in to be the range safety officer would help me get set up to do so. The associate who came in with me did absolutely nothing to help me get set up and seemed rather annoyed that I was even there and that I didn't know how to set up my target. He was aware that it was my first time at an indoor range so I had plenty of questions throughout the process regarding proper conduct. Every time I asked him a question he would roll his eyes and act annoyed that I asked. It was a slow day. Only 3 people total at the range while I was there. It seemed he would rather play with his guns than help a new shooter. His conduct completely turned me off to coming back and I will be looking for a different range to go to from now on. If you are a new shooter I would not recommend this place based off my experience. I would be giving them one star if it wasn't for the other associate who was informative and helped me pick the best targets and answer some of my questions prior to being in the range.

The safety guy told her about it and said to her the guy next to her if he had a concealed carry license could turn and shoot her. To my knowledge of the concealed carry she would have to be pointing her weapon at him loaded and ready to shout him for him to be able to shoot her. If the guy did by chance shoot her he be in jail for murder. The people at this range do even know the rules of the law and they run this place.

After numerous follow ups Andy finally said it was done. I went to pick it up and asked why the trigger was still bronze? He said it was newer version. I went outside and called the trigger manufacturer. They told me he was lying. I went back inside and confronted him. He told me would look into it. He finally told me he would refund the $120 I paid. I never received it. Again, STAY AWAY......he's a liar and a thief.

After paying for it in full, I had Andy Liebelt of AK's Trading Post order a part for me. Upon…read moredelivery, I had to explain to this "Master Gunsmith" why it was the wrong one. Finally convinced, he agreed to return it to his supplier for the correct item. Patiently waited months for it. Tried contacting him in every possible way and was completely ignored. Finally reaching him on his cell phone, I was unexpectedly told that he was unable to obtain the item for me. Strangely, other shops had informed me that it would be no problem for them to get what I wanted. Liebelt did promise to return my deposit in full. Promises were made to me over the next 5 months, with no funds being received. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. As a result of refusing to respond to this organization, AK's Trading Post received an "F" rating on the BBB Website. As a last resort, I contacted the Town of Oconomowoc Police. Within a month of doing so, I finally received a check for the full amount due. My ordeal with this business went on for over a year and a half. Due to this individual's business practices, I can not recommend Andy Liebelt or AK's Trading Post to anyone.
