I'm hard of hearing so I wasn't entirely sure I communicated well with them but they seemed to understand me so we went forward. Their two-person crew arrived spot on time and got right to work. Daniel, the owner, carefully reviewed the work we had asked for. I agreed, and they got right to work. I thought it would take them all day, but much to my pleasant surprise, they were done in half that time. And the work? Perfect. They did everything asked for with professionalism and well-deserved pride. The yard is now presentable (and it hasn't been for a while). We'll definitely be bringing them on for monthly maintenance so it doesn't go out of control again. Cost was very reasonable. The scope of the work we needed was never going to come cheap, and cheap wasn't our goal. We wanted the job done right and we were willing to pay a professional rate to get that level of quality. Angeles Landscape charges a very good rate and, for what you get, I doubt there are better options. I also appreciated that Daniel kept checking in to make sure we were happy, if we wanted anything corrected, or if we had any questions. Customer service and quality are clearly top priorities for Angeles Landscape, and it's great to know I can trust them to do great!

At first I had high hopes because he was very responsive and made an effort to get out to give us an estimate quickly. Unfortunately, that was the only part of our experience that was positive. He did a very sloppy job during our yard clean up and then refused to take any responsibility for it. They left many things completely unfinished and are clearly incapable of doing proper pruning. On the day he was done he left without checking in with either of us and sent me a text with the bill total. I went out to check out the work that was done to discover uneven mulch that was spilled and scattered all over the lawn, they even completely covered my vinca and mulched around a pot rather than move it first. In one spot they actually burried a hose that was laying on the ground! There was debris, gravel, mulch, and leaves all over our driveway and lawn. The bed in front of our house that our hedges are in had no mulch at all! Grass was left tangled in bushes that had been weed eaten around. My poor California Lilac shrub was mutilated and will have to be re-pruned. We had them cleanup the base of an old cedar stump and there was a blackberry and pile of straw still left there. They even had to use our two wheelbarrows because he forgot his and then they left them filthy without rising them off. It was the most half assed job I've ever seen! I could go on..... When I let him know how unacceptable all of this was and that I was not happy with the job they did he proceeded to blame it on us for failing to micromanage him better and offered to come out to fix it for more money! My husband told him that if he wanted to get paid he needed to come out and clean up the mess first. I really didn't want to even have him come back out after the unbelievably awful job they did the first time around but decided to give him an opportunity to make it right. The next day I went into town to get him cash for payment and when I returned Chris was here raking up some of the mulch and debris that was left on our lawn. I told him I appreciated him coming out to fix things and he then rudly asked me if I had his money! I tried to explain to him why I was so upset and all he had was endless excuses and repeatedly blamed us for his gross incompetence. All he did to "fix" things was sloppily throw some mulch on the beds and then left without saying anything to either of us after getting the payment. I called him to see why he took off without finishing and he insulted me and told me he didn't care at all about fixing it. I really regret not making him finish everything before handing him the money because now my husband and I are out in the yard, raking up piles of debris, evening out the mulch, pruning our shrubs, and cleaning up the huge mess he left in our breezeway. I left some of the pics but there was too much to even capture. For all of this we are now out $1600! Do yourself a favor and hire someone else!

In both cases they delivered with exceptional quality. The overall value received for what I paid was great. I got a few estimates on the yard cleanup, and Eagle landscaping came in at the mid point, but they acknowledged the level of work required upfront, while others under estimated the work. I think had I gone with cheapest bids, I would have been disappointed. Before agreeing on that project though, I had Eagle create the gate, it was very reasonably priced; it was the project I used to develop trust and assess their quality of work. With two projects done, I'll be having them back out in the fall to focus on another area.

I went with the less expensive option as I didn't need the entire fence rebuilt as it was still in good condition. His availability was within a week or so and I was happy with the scheduling. His pricing is competitive and he does quality work. I had a set of fence that was leaning towards a side after the storms and it did not have enough concrete in the posts. Since the posts were still in good condition, the concrete had to be re-poured in all of the posts, The work was done correctly and this fence should withstand some wind in the future. I will keep using Fernando again for all my fencing needs since he does good work, is responsive, and follows through.

I loved the high-tech computer design they did for me before starting on the project so I could see what we were doing. Now a year later, everything is still alive and thriving!
