Needed extensive work to prep our home for sale. Timing wasn't great in our end, needing to sell during one of the wettest winters on record, but Yards Done Right showed up, developed a plan, and got to work. The work was much more than a mow and rake, we needed vegetation removed, or relocated, had a lot of in-ground concrete that had to go, etc. YDR completed everything asked of them. The only rub is that I could have used a little more communication as scope adjustments happened in relation to cost, but this is not unique to YDR, and there were certainly opportunities, in retrospect, where I could have begun or clarified those conversations. Needed timber laid down to display my property line and two bushes planted. Yards Done Right cleaned up the area of old branches and weeds and placed the timbers following the property line and secured the timbers with rebar. Noah runs a very busy business! His team has been reliable and consistent as well as considerate of our property & animals. He only works with yearly contracts so that might be a dealbreaker for some families. His billing system is efficient & makes it very simple to pay. Final email to Yards done right There is no need to come back to our property. You gave a bid in writing of the work that was to be completed by your company. That work was not completed. The yellow ties are still on the shrubbery that was to be removed or trimmed. You provided a bid to install beauty bark. I relied upon your expertise to be able to estimate the amount needed. Most of the beds that you did cover were only 1/2 done as shown by the photos and others received no beauty bark at all. Providing a new wisteria will not replace the mature wisteria that was a cover for the deck. The lattice that was removed left the deck unstable and will need to be replaced by a professional. You provided a bid to complete the project and after agreeing and signing your contract, 24 hours later (with the project in process) you increase the price by nearly $1000.00 for the same work! That is not only unprofessional but unethical. I will find another contractor to fix the mess you have made of our property and this email with photos will be posted as your "review" on Yelp and Google. read more

The first time we had Noah do work for us, it was fine except that he showed up with no equipment and had to use ours. We then asked him to do more work but he required a deposit of $150. He didn't show up on the scheduled day so we rescheduled. Again, he was a no show. Time and time again, he didn't come and didn't call. When I asked for my deposit back, I got a million excuses. He eventually got nasty about it. I posted about the problem on Craigslist and I was contacted by several people that had the same experience...he vanished after the deposit was paid. To this day, we've never received our deposit back. Do not trust Noah. If you do hire him, do not pay until the job is done! read more
