The crew is just beginning clean-up.

I recently called Dead or Alive Tree Service to have branches limbed from our large fir tree. The crew was very courteous and professional. They worked very carefully to prevent any damage to our landscaping. When the limbing was done, they thoroughly cleaned the area leaving it cleaner than when they arrived. I am very impressed with the quality service they provided at an affordable price. I highly recommend Dead or Alive to anyone needing a tree service.

We had 10 trees limbed and our neighbor had a bunch of trees cut down. These guys worked so hard and so efficiently. We were so impressed by the work they did and how they took such care in cleaning up after they were done. It was very impressive to watch as they moved from tree to tree. We called around for multiple quotes in the community and this was by far the most cost effective company we found. Everyone was so professional and so nice and we are extremely happy with the service we were provided. We will always use them for all of our future tree needs!

Came out to our home promptly after giving a courtesy call. Was very quick and professional with the cutting down of two trees in our small front yard. They cleaned up the yard and driveway nicely upon completion and left us the wood requested to use as firewood. Didn't impact any of the other part of the yard. The guys were very respectful and professional. Definitely will be a repeat customer and recommend to those that need any of these services required.

Reasonably priced and reliable. Crew did a great job of removing trees and clean up afterwards. Would highly recommend them.

Chris came down and gave me a very fair price compared to other folks from local companies.

We've been updating our house and had asked for a quote a long time ago. I remember how polite and…read moregenuine Samuel was, so I emailed again to do the work after we made some other fixes to the home. He came back out, discussed the work, and was patient with me as I sent many emails revising the work. They just came out and did the work this week and they did an amazing job! Our yard looks better than when we bought the house. I will definitely keep them in mind when we make more updates to our yard!

In all fairness, I waited a while to see how things would settle, but my opinion hasn't changed:…read morethis is a horrible company that did more damage than good. They were supposed to trim a laurel hedge, but decided to only trim it as far up as they could reach without bothering to do the upper couple of feet. It is a horrible mess. They were supposed to re-gravel the driveway, but, brought such a fine-grade gravel that it was more dust than stones. I spoke about that and Sam Hill, the owner, said "It'll be fine once it rains." NO it's not. Most of the "gravel" blew away. It's a lumpy mess. I had also specified that I wanted the gravel to go all the way out to the edges of the current drive. I even said "I want it wide." Wasn't done. I complained and Sam said, "It looks like a nice, strip up the middle." He said if I wanted it out to the edges, he could write up another bid!!!! I had gone out the day before and weeded and made the edges of the drive very clear. These lazy people didn't even bother to move a trash can that was at the side: they just left it un-graveled. They didn't spread gravel over the entire area that is the turn-around either. You can see where they just put their gravel around in patches when they thought they could get away with leaving the old gravel. They cut a 50-year old lilac down to the ground for no reason at all. Apparently, Sam's parents own a nursery, so he "made it right" by putting 2 inch tall cuttings in its place. I objected because lilacs are very slow growing. Sam said "Oh, no...they grow really fast." NOT TRUE. I then went to a nursery and picked out a 4 foot tall lilac that would still not make up for the towering one that had been destroyed, but would be better than cuttings. Sam said he'd go get it. Well, he must have gone back to mom and dad again. They planted a one foot tall weakling that is now dead. I wanted them to plant something to mask my neighbors fence from view. I said something flowering, like a dogwood or cherry. I expected someone who calls himself a landscaper to know plants; to know what would grow in the space indicated. I babied that tree for months, but...it's now dead, too. So, thousands of dollars went for damage and ignorance and laziness and refusal to repair what they ruined. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.
