This one has again refused to make any accommodation to allow a single mother in a wheelchair to have access to medication. I have shopped here out of necessity since they opened. I will be driving out of town for ALL of my family's medication needs from now on. Most of the staff (the budtenders) are amazing personable people that go out of their way to make their patients comfortable, and I will miss you guys and gals; you know who you are. The rest of the staff, however, make it quite clear they are focused on profit, not patients. While some of the guards are quite friendly, and make the shopping experience more pleasant and secure, this particularly opinionated guard has a power Trip and likes to bully people when bored. That was my experience today. After years of being a loyal customer and shopping there multiple times each week, now that I'm a single mother raising 6 kids, I have to make adjustments. One of those is not having a partner to watch my one year old while I shop for medicine. This dispensary is the ONLY one that has ever told me I had to get a babysitter to be allowed to buy medicine, as my infant is not allowed inside. I have tried repeatedly to get them to help me access my medication despite my disability, but they claimed it was company policy. However, the Prescott store has made it clear that policy is exclusively up to Cottonwood management, and is not the policy in Prescott, where of course they want to make sure I can get my medicine as needed. So I complied with their request and brought my 13 year old (who is old enough to legally babysit anywhere) to help with my wheelchair (which I can't do alone) and watch the baby while I was inside. They got drinks while I wheeled myself up the ramp and went in, then walked around the parking lot to stay where the security cameras could see them until I came out, as instructed. I was inside maybe 5 minutes when the "guard" comes into the establishment and berates me about bringing children to the building. They were not in the building and I pointed out that office staff had said that they had to wait outside. Then he says I can't have them there at all and I need to leave. Even my budtender was in shock. No one deserves to be treated this poorly just trying to purchase medication.The drive to Prescott was well worth it, and their prices are better read more

This is my favorite dispensary. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I love the watermelons rings. Wednesday is this discount day and don't forget to ask for a senior discount if you are an oldtimer. read more

Someone please open another dispensary in Cottonwood not once has anybody said hello welcome when I go to the counter to give them my card they don't even look up. there on their phone texting now there's a sign that says do not wear your sunglasses into the building I do not like flower I like Wax they never have any in stock and they're rude when I asked them why. I'm so tired of no one telling me about the deals, or anything that's going on. The manager blocked my bfs phone number because we got a bad batch of dabs that we had tested (and it showed an abundance of chemicals that should have been flushed out, and we just wanted to warm them about the bad product and they said they don't care and won't remove it from the shelves) Today, I overheard a friend ask for a particular deal and no one told me about it, and the cashier had already checked me out and said sorry I can't do anything. I am beyond angry, not everyone can afford good quality medicine all the time, and when I asked if they would let me do the deal tomorrow (since they were about to close and I didn't want to stay and be rude, but I should have) thy said no they won't give me the deal that day and it's my fault I didn't know about the deal. Idgaf if I have to drive an hour, I'm going to Prescott from now on and I LIVe in damn cottonwood. I've been a long time customer and have spent thousands of dollars and get treated like I'm garbage. Now, it takes a lot to rile up my wife but these guys have done it twice in two days. Normally, she raves about the staff, and the product. I am extremely surprised, because she has been going there for a year. No problems, only joy and happiness. But she has been trying the vape pens so as to be able to ride along with me on my travels (I'm an Insurance adjuster) and trying the edibles. The pens are the problem. Short story, they leak. Every cartridge, when it gets down to a quarter full, it leaks. But they keep selling them. She has had them exchanged before, which was nice and appreciated. She has even had a pen exchanged. All normal. No problems. She likes the vape. She has a little waterproof box that keeps it upright and safe in the cooler. Now her latest pen has oil all inside it and it leaks like a sieve. It needs to be exchanged. But on her most recent trip yesterday the staff treated my wife like an errant 10 year old. Not only was she refused an exchange, she was refused in a brusque and unprofessional manner. She was challenged for a receipt and told they could only be returned with a receipt. No problem. My wife returned today with the receipts. Then she was told that since the cartridges were purchased over 60 days ago the warranty no longer applies. WTF? The receipt was dated 41 days ago. But math doesn't matter, no exchange. The manager told my wife in a snarky and condescending manner: "Maybe vape pens aren't for you" and stated that not only could she not exchange any pens because they hadn't any in stock, she would not offer any credit to upgrade to the newer, nicer pens (which they also didn't have in stock. Now my wife spends a lot of money in there. Money is not the issue. Neither she or I want anything free. I want my wife treated with the respect she gives others. She is nice and polite to everyone she meets. This is not about money, vape pens, or us trying to get something for free, this is about treating people with respect. If a customer has a problem, and is respectful and nice, you can do better than to treat her inconsiderately. Don't try at every turn to be willfully unhelpful What I am able to ascertain from talking to other customers is that Yavapai Herbal is losing their asses exchanging faulty cartridges and pens. My advice: Either warranty what you sell or don't sell it. Treat your customers better read more
