The experience included a topless server (male) for our party, an instructor and a nude model (also male). Something else that wasn't specified was if you had a female model if you would also have a female server? So not sure on that. I would guess she would be in a bikini or bra top as no nude photography is allowed and they walk around during the entirety of the event serving drinks and handing out pencils as needed. This would be a fun event to celebrate bachelorette parties (obviously), but you could also utilize their services for any type of gathering. I can so see a ladies night in with my friends doing this, but she also mentioned divorce parties (in which case can we have a group of male models I'll take 5 thank u), birthdays for the artsy friend, baby shower because clearly they've seen someone nude and nobody likes baby shower games (she didn't say that but I couldn't resist).... anyways, I digress. The only thing I wish I'd had more of was explanation. Some of them felt kind of rushed and I had no idea how to shade which was detrimental to my artistry (jk my hands are detrimental to my artistry more than anything else)... Would definitely do this again!

At our event, Bobby the server refilled drinks and took care of us during the drawing portion. The instructor and muse were fabulous at providing instruction and maintaining a sophisticated AND fun environment. It was fun to learn drawing techniques, but my skill was just alright! Each round went pretty quickly, so I wish I could have taken a bit more time to draw.

Recently attended a calligraphy class taught by Natalie Grace…read more Natalie- awesome teacher! She was so great and I would recommend anyone interested in an intro to calligraphy class choose her class. She spent a lot of time walking around to each individual to check out technique and gave tips to improve. You also receive a nice starter kit with all the essentials to practice. Fullosophie- strange that courses don't mention how long they are nor do you receive any communication outside of a receipt and a reminder the day before. Class stated "light brunch" to be served. I'm not sure how wine, popcorn, and fun size snickers qualify as "light brunch"- feels more like an afterthought. The space is cute, it's one room in a house on Bryan Street shared by a floral design shop. It's a bit difficult to find since there are no signs confirming you're in the right place. I like the idea of Fullosophie and have high hopes for future classes.

Most of…read moreus aren't very artsy, but Hope was amazing--her detailed guidance made a world of difference. My three-year-old niece joined us as well, and Hope was incredibly patient with her. At the end of the night, she even left extra supplies for my daughter and her friend to keep painting. You'll be surprised at what you can create with her expertise. My husband and I can barely draw anything, yet we were both thrilled with how our paintings turned out. Every time I see our artwork, it brings a smile to my face. Hope is fantastic, and I look forward to booking her again!
