Where do I start, My family and I had an appointment two hours from our home so we decided to stay at a hotel. We ended up having a flat tire at the hotel( ran over a nail). The hotel would NOT help with anything. I called Yaz towing and they calmed me down said they would be right out. I wanted to cancel the appointment and he suggested an uber( I've never used before) we were able to Uber to our appointment and back and they came out and changed my tire. Yaz towing was a life saver tonight! My daughter had a flat tire and they were prompt to get out and replace the tire with the spare. $460 cash only to get my car that was towed within 10mins of parking at CVS in Westbrook. The tow to Yaz impound lot was 1.3 miles. I was refused a receipt and the gentleman I spoke to said he's "just the messenger" and the extra $200 was for a city ordinance, he couldn't tell me what the city ordinance was. Calling Westbrook tomorrow to get more information, but we felt taking advantage of and completely scammed. read more

They spy on you shopping at CVS in Westbrook. I brought a prescription in and they told me 15 min to fill it so I took children to take pictures in front of Christmas tree a half a block from CVS. Came back and car was towed. Yaz towing are crooks they sitting across street waiting for people to come out and leave car as they no longer shopping at CVS. Well I wasn't done at CVS I was still waiting for prescriptions to refill. So CVS is going to pay dearly for causing me and my family to be stranded in the cold. Rediculous. I'll see.towimg in small claims as this is totally wrong and literally grand theft . I was a customer when car was towed. Towing company is going to pay and CVS is too. I no longer will get a prescription for any of my family members. Yaz going to lose their towing contract for this one because I will make their lives miserable like they did to us. read more

Takes advantage of people - charges people extra for using a credit card - which is not legal. Also charges daily storage fee - even if someone picks up the vehicle two hrs after towing. read more

My apologies for not writing this review before this. My car broke down on December 10, 2022 at the Maine Mall in South Portland. It was a super cold evening and I was 95 miles from home. Stranded! THANKFULLY, Shawn from Yaz Towing arrived and was able to not only resolve the issues I was dealing with in communicating with my insurance company to obtain authorization for towing, but he also patiently supported my efforts to reach a family member (counties away) to pick me up later that night at the service center in Westbrook. They towed my car after an accident to their location. when I went to retrieve my personal items, they were pleasant, helpful and kind.

On a test drive, the car decided to quit. We limped to the side of the road and called the car company. They called around looking for a tow back to the dealership. I received a call from Yaz Towing stating that he would arrive in about an hour and a half. A tow company showed up. I thought it was Yaz Towing. It certainly wasn't! It was another company that didn't even have room for the two of us in their cab. The driver insisted I get out of the car so he could load the car onto his flatbed. We did and were standing on the side of the road, shivering. At that moment, Yaz Towing arrived. He told the other driver to drop our car which they refused. He called the police...Sorted. What a day! Yaz Towing had sent us an angel in a knit cap, by the name of Tim. He arrived with a warm cab that could seat up to four! We arrived safely back to the dealership comfortably and well pleased. We didn't buy the car. Choose Yaz Towing. read more

friend got towed two weeks ago. guy said 270$. said he needed a dolley. a tow 3 miles does not need to be 300$. he said it was 100$ for the dolley. didn't say it needed to be cash. we get there he tells us cash, we said you didn't say that, he goes to pull up the text where he proved in front of both of us that he did not in fact say cash only. so we grab cash come back. now our breaks had a warning sign. tonight my friend got towed. the price was 380$. he said the 80$ was for being after hours. except these prices don't line up. he was very nice to me because I was nice to him but this guy towed my friend within 10 minutes of her parking where she shouldn't have. he towed her not even one mile and it was almost 400$. I don't know about yall but this is fucked. I asked he what he charges for a lockout he said 180$... bro B & B charges not even 100$... this place is ripping people off. You park wrong and they take your life savings when you know it was only 50$ worth of effort for them. read more
