The food was so amazing I ordered more to go. The vibe is relaxed but stylish, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Great for breakfast, lunch, or even a casual dinner. Bonus points for having vegetarian and gluten-free options! Definitely a must-visit if you're in Clarksdale. I'll be back!

    Chicken Piccata was wonderful!

Delicious dinner on a Tuesday evening. Great service and wonderful atmosphere. It's clearly a spot for locals and visitors.

Very nice simple good ingredients for breakfast! If I wasn't passing through I would go back for lunch. Friendly staff!

This place is very clean and food was fantastic! Had the veggie burger was very delicious and my husband had the hamburger! The only thing when you walk in they should t have a sign up saying to order at window! First time here when I walk in I didn't know whether to sit or order! But a very nice place to eat and enjoy your food! I highly recommend this place!!!

Yahoo for Yazoo Pass! I'm positively addicted to iced espresso in the summer and figured I'd have to give that up for the steamy weekend I was in Clarksdale. Yazoo fed my fiend and fed it well. The regular order is 2 oz, so a large shot, but I got two. Cups are super large and filled with ice & soy milk= instant buzzy bliss. I didn't try any of their food, as it's not particularly vegetarian-friendly, except of course for the delish-looking baked goods and salad bar. The staff is SO nice though, that it would not surprise me if they'd make you something sans meat if you asked. Oh, but there's froyo, and a tart variety at that. Serve yourself (I served myself plenty). The toppings are more on the sweet than healthy side, which I am not really a fan of. If I'm basing this solely on coffee, service and awesome environs (it's in a refurbished Mid Century Woolworth building that's now all sparkling and modern), easy 5 stars.

This may be among the "best" in Clarksdale, but anywhere else in America, this is strictly 3 stars. You stand in line to order at the counter. Food gets delivered to your table. Quality is average. Portions are small-average. Prices are high. Turkey sandwich was unremarkable. Quiche Lorraine had too much cheese, and portion was small. Cup of soup as an add-on for $3.50 was way overpriced. Cookies were delicious, $1.75 ea. Note that all "juices" have added sugar, and are thus really juice drinks! Be careful going in during "dinner hour" as according to friends who dined here two nights ago, they had run out of several items on their short menu.

The service was great. It had a great southern feel to it and the food was pretty good.

The Chai Latte was one of the best I've ever had. Also, the quiche is to die for. Great atmosphere and friendly patrons!

Before we could enter the restaurant, however, we had to wade through all the smokers littering the entrance. Cough! We sat down at a table we chose along the perimeter across from the band. I wish I knew the name of the band, but it was a 3 piece band with a female singer, her son on the guitar, and another guy playing drums. They were good. She sang a song she wrote called the Delta. Great lyrics! My husband and I both ordered the French toast with a hash brown on the side. It took forever and honestly, I was getting a little concerned about all the people who kept coming in and out from outside and into what seemed the kitchen area. Our food arrived and it had great presentation and generous portions. Real French bread used! It was very good! After our meal, the female band leader as well as the owner of the restaurant came over to chat. Very friendly and nice conversation with all. Sadly, when we arrived home from our long drive, let's just say, the food did not sit well in our stomach. It was the only meal we had before arriving home. Another restaurant meal I have to pray was prepared with love.

It is good whether I get coffee or a French vanilla cappuccino. And it doesn't matter whether charge me 95 cents or a little over a dollar because I can't wait to get my caffeine from this place in my very own refill cup I carry in my truck and car. It is also a truck Stop in which big 18 wheelers can park in the back and they also can get gas back there too. It is also a gas station for cars and pickups. These gas pumps are located in the front like most gas stations. Last but not least, it is also a restaurant. The food looks good every time I visit. They always have a second person to wait on customers for the restaurant part while a cashier waits on the convenience store customers. There are also some tables for you to sit at and enjoy your lunch or dinner. They do have restrooms in here but like the other reviewer says, they could be just a little bit nicer. But, hey they will do. Yes, I will come back again because they treat me very well. Now, there is one cashier in here that is sarcastic. But the rest of the cashiers are friendly except for that one that ain't. This store is busy and there might be a line but if there is, the cashier will acknowledge this. I think they are so busy because the next convenient store off Highway 61 is in Tunica and the next truck stop is on the other side of Merigold.
