I'm a little torn about giving a glowing recommendation (which I will and is deserved), because then it might make it more challenging to hire them for the other projects I need done! But, seriously, I really almost have a phobia of construction projects in my home - so many horror stories from others, and a few of my own (not done by YB Remodeling). But I am certainly going to hire YB again! Although there it's to be expected to have some glitches (which we did), most of them weren't an issue with Yigal, YB or any of his crew, but they accommodated and did whatever they could to keep us on track and complete the tasks. They were great at either humoring my crazy ideas, or actually accommodating them. I miss the crew too! I really liked them and I feel a little bit like they're family now! YB Remodeling completed a major, "down to the studs" kitchen remodel for us in less than the promised four weeks time. The job included two sinks in different parts of the kitchen, in-wall ovens, a new vent hood and venting, a large center island, a window seat, cabinets, glass backsplash tile, flooring, recessed lighting, and painting in several adjacent rooms. We are very happy with the result. YB advertises as family owned and operated, and so it is. Edan, the son, was in charge of our project, but his father showed up to consult and an uncle was on the job many days. They were well organized with workman on site all day, six days a week. They kept the project moving. My wife and I had some very firm ideas about what we wanted, including some round shelving. The YB cabinet guys were willing to work with us (and maybe even had fun with it) so that we got what we wanted. While the cost of it all was not the cheapest we had estimated, it was significantly less than several of the estimates we got from other contractors. We would definitely hire YB Remodeling again. read more
