I hired Brothers Landscaping to install wood trim on the bottom of my deck, as well as install…read moreriver rocks. The company did an absolutely horrendous job. The wood trim was cut into a ton of pieces and honestly looked like a child did the work. The river rocks didn't even match my existing ones and they didn't even bother finishing up filling the ditch they were working in. The trim was supposed to be painted, and nobody even bothered painting it, although I paid for paint in the materials list. When sending photos of the finished work, everything seemed ok. These things were all noticed on further inspection & even the company agreed the job was terrible. Look closely at the photos. The deck was built by another company. I only hired them to put a piece of wood at the bottom of the deck, painted, and as a piece of trim. They promised that they would come back to fix things and I never heard back from them. The owner Abner never even bothered calling me and apologizing or showing up to fulfill his promise to make things right. This is one of many companies in San Diego that subcontract out jobs and are NOT licensed. They are NOT a professional company. They are a group of guys who get jobs and subcontract out their work. They have no sense of integrity in the way they communicate or do business. If you need anything done that's very small like gardening or mowing grass, I think they could possibly handle it. If it's any sort of major landscaping project, I can with 100% experience say you should NOT go with this company. If anyone has any questions of the horrendous job I was left with, please contact me and I will help in any way I can. I'm also going to attach detailed photos of the wood trim they were supposed to install and pictures of the job they did. Trust me, avoid this company like the plague.

We hired A&C Landscaping for a backyard project involving demolition of concrete, re-grading,…read moreinstalling surface drains, and re-doing irrigation. Overall, we are 100% pleased with our experience. I met with 4 different landscaping contractors and was most impressed with A&C. Their quote was competitive, but what sold me the most was their project manager who came out, Calixto. From setting up the initial quote to his demeanor throughout our meeting, he was extremely professional. He did not upsell, pressure me, or use any fear tactics. He brought in his partner, Alfonso, during that same visit to provide some additional opinions on our concrete, and it was obvious that between the two of them they have a lot of combined experience. While I had to consistently chase other contractors to get quotes, A&C was prompt with their quote and scheduled us in a reasonable time frame. They're definitely very busy, but extremely organized. They started the job and finished the job exactly as they estimated. There were minimal changes in the budget. Calixto was consistently present on the job site, which was reassuring. He was always checking on the work and making sure everything was to his standard. He was also incredibly responsive! Any time we had an issue, he would respond immediately and be able to come out within the next day or two. We noticed a couple of minor things after a rain following completion of the job. We let Calixto know and he immediately came out to assess the situation with a solution within a day or two. This level of professionalism and ownership of the work is amazing. I'll continue to update this review as time passes. But for now, we will definitely be using A&C again for any future jobs.

Our landscaping has been completely neglected for who knows how long, yet they continued charging us. I canceled their service in November 2024, expecting it to end by December. However, I just realized (April 2025) that they are still billing us! When I reached out via email today they sent a photo claiming they serviced our property on April 1. But their own photo proves otherwise--the red curb not shown in their image was painted back in May 2024! I've attached actual, recent pictures showing the truth: dead plants and an unmaintained property, and a red driveway curb despite their continued fraudulent charges. This company is dishonest and unethical. If you're considering hiring them, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere!

Adrian Monroy the salesman/estimator was very friendly and helpful although initially I did have some difficulty making contact with someone for a quote. This is the reason for only Four Stars as other than that Adrian was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Also the installers Francisco and Saul were very friendly and courteous and did an excellent job. The fence looks great and if I ever need another fence I will most likely be contacting Aztec.
