SGI is the best backyard landscaper hands down. We had a paver/dirt backyard and wanted to put in turf/concrete. We had quite a few trees in the backyard that needed to be removed and existing concrete that would require demolition. We had gotten quotes from 5 different contractors and SGI had the best pricing. I have been busy remodeling my new home and have dealt with many contractors. I interviewed several turf companies and Roberto was the only one who was responsive to my questions. Many companies dropped off after providing a quote. After me and Roberto discussed the plans, he readily answered any additional questions I had since I had to adhere to the rules of my HOA. He even pointed out the fact that the reflection from my windows can damage my turf and suggested rock in the affected area. I was hesitant at first but now I couldn't be more pleased! Roberto stated it would take two weeks for the job and it took exactly two weeks! The results were better than I expected! The turf is seamless and the concrete is smooth. They even fixed one of my fences, cleared out an old cabinet I was meaning to throw out, did some light trimming of my trees and fixed our root infected drainage pipes. There was an emergency where we did the Solar installation for the customer and coincidentally, one of the sprinklers started bubbling. We installed a ground water rod and we know that we didn't hit the pipe, we've always been careful about that. I called multiple companies on yelp that stated they do emergency services but non of them were actually available and couldn't start until next week. On top of that, they charged 5x to 10x the actual cost of the job. I immediately felt a big relief when I spoke with Roberto. Well, I have to join the crew in praising this business. About 3 weeks ago I contacted Roberto about installing some artificial turf in a small doggie run in back of our house. He showed up with a very professional crew and they proceeded to do a very nice installation job. When they were finished, there was a small piece of turf left over. I asked if I could have it to put down in front of the gate. He said, "yes." Then I asked if he had any of the 6" nails to hold it in place. He told me that he was sorry but he was out of them. He added that he would stop by the next day and drop some off. He didn't come back the next day. HOWEVER, yesterday he showed up with his truck and one of his crewmen. He said they had a little free time. They then picked up the small piece outside the gate, prepared the ground, put down a larger piece of turf, and nailed it in place. He has to be very careful about this or we will all be expecting such fine service from other contractors. If you need some artificial turf installed, don't hesitate to call on him. read more

I had 1250 sq ft installed for approximately $3800. That included two types of gravel to cover up the arena, weed block, nails, and all tools needed. I only had to buy the turf and silicon sand on my own. It may be a little pricey but it was much cheaper than Home Depot. It would have cost me around $12000 for the cheapest stuff at Home Depot These guys went above and beyond. Roberto picked up the turf for me, he organized the dirt to be delivered, they cut the turf with care, they dug out extra areas for me because there was time, they pulled weeds, and they left the place cleaner than when they came. I am 100% glad I didn't do it myself. There is more than I thought that goes into it, including drainage and the details you don't see on YouTube.
