Adrian, his son and crew all worked hard to get the cement work done very professionally and at a fair price. Everyone was polite and friendly and they got the job done quickly. Adrian was there to oversee all the work and stayed after the others left to do the finishing and it was obvious he is a maestro who takes pride in his work. We are very happy with the result and are saving money so we can hire them to do the other side of the entryway.

I am very pleased with the quality and promptness of Adrian and his crew! They came quickly for an estimate and had the job completed quickly! Def recommend!

    Wall

They made our backyard beautiful. They excavated and leveled the ground, retaining wall with waterproof back and drain system plus stucco. Concrete the whole yard with artificial grass with drain system all done by them. Thank you for an excellent job! Quick and efficient throughout the whole process. Communication is outstanding . Call now for your project to get done. Check out the pictures!

I had Adrian'a concrete work on a landscaping project for our house, which was built in 1984. Adrian was easy to work with and provided suggestions on the type of stone and rock to use for a small retaining wall. He provided a very competitive quote and was friendly every step of the way (even when I added things to my project, he was able to accommodate and revise the quote efficiently). Our project included removing old brick in front of the house as well as on the sides. We also added a "dryscape" feel by adding rock and succulents. Since we did not want to demo the driveway, Adrian provided an alternative. He was able to sand the driveway, fill in any cracks, and poured a sealer to make the driveway look new. Ware so pleased with how our project turned out!

Adrian and his guys did a great job with our concrete. They worked quickly and efficiently to do our garage and back yard and did the job right. The price was great and we got exactly what we paid for. Would definitely use them again.

Leak under paver due to bad glue job.

I hired them again for a 2700 sqft paver job in May 2023 where I paid for all material. The previous job was for retaining walls in March 2023. I had a difficult time communicating with them on the first job, so I detailed the contract. Turn out, the father didn't read the contract, or watch videos of how to use certain materials per the manufacturer's advice. I had to watch them like a hawk. They don't clean up well. A lot of gravel and sand for me to clean up. The 3-5 workers and owners peed (#1) at the corner of my house. I had to confront them, and then allow them to use my power room. I thought they would drive to the nearest gas station since they don't provide portable potty stalls for their workers. They made many wrong cuts so I had to accept and settle with filler. The owners are conscious of material costs and try to reuse some pavers, but not the workers. The workers are not careful, chipping many pavers with their tools and shoes. They have no pride in the job. They did the bare minimum then waited until I pointed out the obvious errors, and then they fixed it. They were accommodating to changes or fixes during the project. The owners are nice people, but not the best at managing workers. The workers would get on the phone and take long breaks when the owners were not there. We let them use our paver table saw, and they won't pressure wash it, yet they would with their equipment. The owners won't respond to our text to fix a leak after the worker didn't prime the irrigation tube before glue causing the pipe to leak under the pavers after one month. So don't expect warranty work. Again, no pride in their work. I got so fed up with their constant patch-up work, lack of pride, and additional material cost to fix, that I decided to complete a few items so it was done right the first time. If you have the know-how and skill to do the job but have the luxury to hire workers, then I say don't use them, as you will be disappointed with their laziness, bare minimum, lack of pride or esthetic sense, and no warranty work ethic. If you have vague ideas about how the end project should look but lack technical knowledge of structural, procedure, or mechanical skills, then hire them. They do an okay job for the affordable price.

    Dirt and gravel.

Very disappointed. They said they would remove 6" of dirt before adding 2" of gravel and then pouring the concrete. Unfortunately they removed a few pavers and scattered at most an inch of gravel. Also, they laid down sod on the lawn but didn't dig the weeds out beneath it. Horrible job. It looks terrible.

Dean and Robert didn't just do great work. They earned my trust…read more My wife designed the layout and my engineer contributed specifications. What impressed me is that Dean and Robert took both and made them better, using their real knowledge of how concrete works. The control joints are placed right, they put in real drainage with actual drains and grading built throughout, and it looks clean and classy without being overdone. Flatwork around the entire house, driveway, front yard, backyard, both sides, fencing, gates. Did they get everything perfect on the first pass? Almost. What separates them is that when something was off, they owned it completely. No excuses, no pushback, just fixed. They paid attention to details that other contractors I quoted either missed entirely or only caught after I nudged them. Dean caught everything without me saying a word. Every day at the end of their shift they cleaned up and secured the site, even when it wasn't convenient. Robert ran a tight field operation and cared about every detail like his reputation depended on it. I have a young kid at home and that told me everything about who these guys are. I had my own engineer come out and review the work on-site. He looked around and said, unprompted, "You've got a great crew here." Engineers don't hand out compliments. That meant something. These guys come from commercial construction and brought that level of expertise to a residential job without going overkill. I actually spotted their truck at another client's property. Here's my honest take: if my mom needed this much work done and I couldn't be there to check in, I would still trust Dean to make sure she was taken care of. That's the highest thing I can say.

A&F Concrete did an excellent job installing a 20' sidewalk and a very nice 5x5 foot masonry wall…read more As instructed, San Diego Buff concrete was used for the sidewalk. I was given an excellent variety of bricks/blocks to choose for the wall, and the one I chose was competently installed. I was pleased to note the block I chose would be sourced from RCP in Chula Vista, where I have been a regular customer. The two workers agreed to relocate the existing pavers for my reuse as part of the original job. I really appreciated that. Although I was in no hurry, the job was completed quite expeditiously with the exception of the iron gate, the installation of which was subcontracted (and reviewed separately). The final results please me immensely. A&F solved a major problem, and I recommend the company to all.

In the process, Adam and team broke the stairs immediately, and reassembled them with screws sticking out and chunks broken remains used to "level" the remaining stairs (photos of all work attached.) While on site, Adam asked for "200-300$" outside of the scope of the signed contract for the same work that would have been done with or without the additional request. Through the phone exchanges and emails regarding these issues Adam was arrogant and dismissive, yet also took blame for the stairs and will not resolve the issue. Adam's team poured our concrete before a heavy rain, but failed to redirect a gutter (as it had originally been before construction) from pouring directly onto the concrete causing a water stain from the pooling water on the fresh concrete. Again, when confronted with this issue and asking for a resolution Adam denied blame and said "wait a year". As of 6/11/26 there has been no reply nor efforts made on behalf of this company to repair any personal property damage nor resurface the concrete stain/ finish the job as fully paid for. Thanks to EVERLASTING, our dream came true in just six and a half weeks! Our old backyard was in desperate need of a refresh. Looking at the before pictures, you can see what a challenge it was: overgrown weeds choked the flagstone paths, dead leaves and debris were scattered everywhere, and the lawn was patchy and worn out. The old red brick patio and walkway also showed significant wear, especially near the house. Our biggest headache, though, was a serious drainage issue that caused rainwater to pool near the main house foundation and even flood into our ADU. Thankfully, EVERLASTING tackled this major engineering hurdle head-on. They re-leveled the entire yard, corrected the problematic slopes, and expertly installed hidden drainage lines to direct water safely away to a proper absorption area. Beyond fixing the underlying drainage, they completely transformed the disjointed space into a tranquil, beautifully executed Japanese Zen garden featuring clean-cut garden beds, defined walkways, and fresh new sod. From initial planning to the final touches, the team was professional, efficient, and proactive with communication. They held regular check-ins throughout the project to ensure every detail matched our vision. A special shout-out to Dani, the co-founder and designer, who took our rough ideas and brought them to life on paper! We also want to thank George, the foreman, and his crew. They arrived on time every single day, kept the job site clean and organized, and executed the design with absolute precision. If you're looking for a reliable, hard-working landscaping company that takes true pride in their craftsmanship, we cannot recommend them highly enough!
