There were still plenty of other tables and people but our group dominated being so many. The menu was disappointing...i like having a lot of choices and this menu does not offer that. But. The choices that are available are allllllll incredible! And all reasonably priced. One of my friends tried the onion soup which he said was almost as good as his mother's, almost. Another group of friends tried the 3 different platters offered: varieties of cheese, charcuterie and terrines respectively, also thoroughly enjoyed and portions were decent for the price. Most of us ordered pizzas for dinner dressed as per our liking (see photos of menus i took)...i had brie and bacon on my pizza and it was fabbbbbbbuuuuuuu! I tried a bite of my friend's faux filet steak too which was so unbelievably tender! There was a singer for the evening...but while he was very good he was also pretty lazy IMO. He would play one or 2 songs then disappear for about an hour then play another song or 2... It's a shame cuz he was really good, I woulda tipped u quite decent Félix had u kept playing, u missed out! The decor was nice, there's an old skool pew at the entrance and other religious relics about...but weirdly mixed in with modern and un-related styles too ...so I duno what to take from that... (ex row of beer bottles around the ceiling, industrial style pipes, wood walls, poster of big lips from like the 90s in men's bathroom...i duno...inconsistent i guess), but still nice. Don't dress too fancy to come here cuz you'll feel outta place. Our waitress deserves such big props: Elizabeth u were phenomenal my lovely lil alcohol ninja u!! (Ever seen a glass of wine appear outta nowhere?! I have.) she kept everything going smoothly: not one of our group of 30 was anything but highly impressed with her! Only downside was one of my glasses of wine cost me 13$!!! But was a fairly large glass so again cant complain too much. Definitely going back for sure!

The back patio is one of those spaces you'd never know existed from the street. There are stone walls, greenery climbing everywhere, strings of lights overhead and some seriously cool artwork and murals. It feels tucked away from the bustle of Old Montreal and, once the lights came on, had a really warm, relaxed atmosphere. Most importantly, nobody seemed remotely concerned that a tiny Italian Greyhound had joined the dinner party. I was welcomed right in. While sitting next to a dog. He did not share. I feel like we've covered this issue before. She was happy to see deep fried pickles on the menu and I saw that they had deep fried Mars Bars. Since I don't see myself visiting Glasgow any time soon this was my chance to finally try it. We shared a pitcher of sangria between us and that was great as well. Between the steak, fries, pizza, the deep fried pickles and Mars bar, there wasn't a complaint between us. Also it really helped that they were playing Brit-music like The Clash and Big Country. Nice to know that there's a decent place in Verdun to get a drink, meet a friend and listen to some sick tunes.

I called my little brother as he's been wanting to play pool for a while now. Ever since then we have become regulars. They have great deals every day and for $9.99 you can't really go wrong. I like that pitchers are $15 as well so it's not over priced which is a lovely change of pace. I love the staff and I love this place !

We sat at the bar as a group of four and stayed for about two hours. Service was great our bartender (long dark hair, blue eyes) was super friendly and attentive the whole time. Drinks were on point too, I had a Coors on tap. Overall, prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is chill but still lively. Would definitely come back!

We go to Macallan's for trivia night every Tuesday. (Call to reserve a table for this in advance!)…read more It's always a lot of fun and the top three teams get a prize (gift cards to... you guessed it). The facility itself is always clean, even if there is the odd case of the ceiling needing a couple repairs, (the bad storm we had did a number on it) you barely notice it. The staff is super pleasant and unless the kitchen is super slammed, the food doesn't take long. You hear the *ding* from the kitchen bell every so often and the smells that come from it always make me want to eat something. I usually get a poutine because it's my favorite "cheat" meal but my fellow trivia team members always get an assortment of food and there is rarely ever a complaint. They host other themed nights and special events/contests/musical guests on their stage for holidays etc. Overall, we love coming here for a break from the weekly routine to have a night of (somewhat) educational fun.
