Nice pub anonymously tucked in Verdun, catering well to the local crowd. There is some dive bar feeling to the overall atmosphere, but in a matter of fact there is more to this place that makes it a decent neighbourhood pub. Drink menu is not exclusively elaborate, cocktails, short and solid list of beers, not the place for wine connoisseurs. What I really enjoyed is the fact there is a classical Canadian beer as Moosehead, some local Montreal precious brews and well poured thick Murphy's offered in the list, first win for the establishment! There is no pub that will qualify for holy one without sweet potato fries, I pray for this goodness every time I order them and the St pub wins again. The live band that night was a devastating experience, but their friends had a lot of fun and certainly spent lots of money on beers and shots, which is good for the holy business. What a holy place can not and should not afford in Montreal is to change the hockey game between the Canadiens and Leafs with American football. In all fairness the hockey game was put back on screan, when we complained, but yet we had to stream the overtime. Because of that I would have removed another star of my rating, but in the end this pub is fine for what it is. Will I be back, yes, but in the summer to try the famous roof top terrace. read more
