Been in only 3 times. Wont shop again. Owner assumes you are a thief the minute you walk in the door. She spends your entire visit talking and following you. She loves to tell her drawn out stories about how everybitem was acquired and why it's worth a million bucks. You will also be entertained with her stories about all the thieves that rip her off. Sogns everywhere about backpacks, large bags etc. Not inviting whatsoever. read more

Room after room of collectibles, antiques, glassware, tools, furniture, art, smalls, books, clothing, kitchenware, lamps, toys, absolutely something for everyone! Down to earth old school atmosphere and treasures hiding in every nook and cranny. Always great finds every time I stop in. Nice shopkeeper who knows her stuff. Easy parking too. read more

We saw an ad on craigslist and drove up from portland. this store is ginormous! there is so much stuff to go through, you need to give yourself a lot of time! So much to choose from. Whatever vintage items you collect they have here. Hen on nest? check. This place was one of the highlights of our trip. The owner was an absolute gem and we really enjoyed shopping here. Lots of types of treasures to choose from and very friendly prices. I went in to the shop for the first time. I found a cute brown transferware teapot that was marked $15.00. Great price...I set it on the counter with a few other things I had chosen as I continued to shop. As I was paying for my goods we came to the teapot and the owner asked me if I wanted it since it was $85 dollars. I was surprised since it was marked $15 when I put it on the counter....I asked her if she changed the tag and she said yes, I changed it to $85 but I will take $55 for it. What the heck! Sure enough, the tag had been altered to read $85. I am a seasoned antique shopper and would never have even picked up the teapot for that price....I am disappointed in the lack of integrity displayed by the owner...I mean, who does that? The other vendor there that had fabric was very nice. Too bad the owner is a cheat. read more

We were down visiting from southern British Columbia and searched the Internet for antique stores in the Kelso area. We found Ye Old Paint Box and were thrilled with the large variety of antiques. The Owner was friendly and told us how some of the piece were acquired which just adds to the fun of purchasing something. I could have easily filled a pickup with treasures. fell in love with a railroad cart... unfortunately we drove down in the car. Next time we'll consider driving the truck down. We'll definitely be back. read more
