So based upon my opinion as a consumer looking for a decent selection with great prices, I would rank this place on the extreme low end of the spectrum of the pawn shops in the area. (see my other pawn reviews). This place was very cluttered, with a vast selection of everything. Store was pretty filthy and employees were abundant but inattentive. Weak selection of DVDs and prices a bit higher than their competitors. Many of the DVDs were of poor quality as well. We won't be back.

We went there almost a week ago, to find a religious medal, on which I've already bought online…read moresimilar (same size, and one smaller than a dime size). This medal was the perfect size for my needs. I also purchased two more pendants. Paid for with my Credit Card. Sunday, I decided to re-arrange my pendants to go with my other pendants, and none of them fit my gold chain. I also found some gold rings to attach to my medals, and one of them didn't even fit inside my ring. I decided to return the two pendants. We drove all the way to Beaverton, just blocks away from the shop, when I took my receipt out of my purse, where it's been, to make sure I have it, when I read my receipt. (see photo below). I freaked out! Yes, I'm blocks away, and I'm freaking out, that they won't take it back. 20% RESTOCKING FEE? No return on jewelry and guns (I can understand guns, but jewelry?) I am not a crook, I'm an honest citizen, a previous customer, who gave them a good review, the first time. I decided to go back home and think about what else I could do! They didn't tell me any of THAT! They were busy! I opened a Credit Card Dispute on the phone, that evening. I also try to sell one of the pendants, to a friend of mine who like religious stuff, maybe, I can try to dispute the other pendant. After much talking, she decided to buy it for her daughter's graduation. I told her: I'll throw in the box and put a bow on it. I also decided, to keep the other pendant, that didn't fit my original chain, for a gift to my granddaughter's graduation (hopefully she won't see my review, and add a more expensive gold chain from my collection). I closed the dispute! LESSON LEARNED HERE: Make sure you understand the store's policy, before you take out your wallet. I could have been in a worst situation, I am glad, I found other solutions. For other people, not so lucky, you've been warned!

They could have easily charged more to make a buck, but they kept things in price range the entire time. I was also back and forth a bit with what stone I wanted to use. They were very gracious and patient with me. Ultimately my price for a stone replacement was only $46, and they finished the work days before the ETA. I can't speak more highly of them. Also a bonus: they were okay with communication via text, so I didn't have to take phone calls while I was out and about. They have it all, from raw stones, to gemstones. Beads, cabachons, tumbled stones. VERY reasonable price wise. I was also picking out stones for a necklace I wanted to make. I checked around with them, and then stopped by Celestial Awakenings to see what the better deal was since they were so close together. Handley far exceeded the quality for a fraction of the price. I will 1000% be a repeat customer. Thank you for the care you took, the patience you had, and the speed of service. For more of a small business, they really spend the time to cater to the needs of the customer. It's also very clear that they have several well-versed team members, so you can be helped at any time.
