I can't recommend Yeana enough! She made my first ever eyebrow 3D tattooing/microblading experience so easy and (relatively) painless. I went into my appointment pretty clueless: all I knew was that I wanted darker eyebrows, just so that I didn't have to fill them in every morning. But Yeana was very knowledgeable and framed her questions in ways that would determine how we were going to shape my brows. Did I want my face to look rounder or longer? Did I want my arches to be strong on the top AND the bottom? Did I want the inner parts to curve a little, or to be drawn straight? And she explained what each outcome would mean for my features, which was very helpful. Your first appointment with Yeana is, in her words, 80%. What that means is that you sit with her and figure out what you want, and then she puts it onto your face at 80% - so not as dark/arched/long as you'd like. She does this because your 3-week touch up (which is included in the cost) is your opportunity to come back and either a) finish up what you had wanted or b) realize that you want something else, and be able to get it done because you haven't crossed the point of no return. Like she said, if you go 100% on the first round but then two weeks later change your mind......she can't reverse what's already been done! So it's very smart. I especially liked being able to see my brows heal fully after 3 weeks, then go back and add more arch and length accordingly. One more thing - if you're a first-timer, please be aware that this. will. sting. The process is obviously less painful than a tattoo, but still enough pain to remind you that a little needle pen is repeatedly slicing into your skin. Just grit your teeth and pray for the second round of numbing cream to come soon is my only advice! read more
