I will preface this review by saying that I was born without eyebrows. I have no brow hair, barring a slight amount of baby fuzz. Imagine having no artistic talent whatsoever, trying to pencil on eyebrows from scratch. Every day. I could never get them symmetrical. Let's not even go into the thousands of "where are your eyebrows?" questions when I'd go without makeup. I came to Sherri and Green because I'd seen their work online for years. They specialize in completely natural, streamlined brows that are custom bladed according to each individual. No offense here, but most brow bars that I've seen go with the "instagram brow". You know, the thick, heavy handed, cookie cutter brow that is one size, one shape fits all. It's not unique to the individual. This studio provides an entirely different experience. I had a free consultation with Green, she walked me through the process and let me know what to expect. During my first appointment, Sherri consulted with me briefly, sketching a brow shape on my face that worked with my natural brow lines. She sanitized and numbed my brows, and the micro blading process was comfortable and smooth. She went over aftercare with me, and the entire appointment took about an hour. Talk about an artist. She's technically and artistically gifted. Hair stroke precision. Literally. If you've never had your brows done, here are a few observations based on my experience: The ink will get lighter. It will fade a little or a lot depending on your skin. You may go home, look in the mirror a few times and realize you'd like a tweak here or there. That's why you go in for the touch up. They say "don't worry" for a reason. I wanted to extend my left brow a bit, and I wanted them a bit thicker. They cover all of that in the follow up visit. So, don't feel unnecessarily alarmed about the little details, you're in good hands and it is all part of the process. I had my touch up with Green. Amazing personality, she's proficient and professional. She had no fewer than 4 back to back appointments that day, and she kept things moving quickly while still devoting her full time and attention to each client. She took her time, and she made sure to treat my eyebrows with the detail and effort that they deserved. This is a big deal for me, the eyebrows are a major focal point of the face. I received the royal treatment. Sherri and Green are the definition of professional. They're brilliant, intuitive and they KNOW their stuff. I will be a lifetime loyal client. This is a really hard review for me to write, since I do not complain over services and generally stick to the mindset of people make mistakes and the outcome is usually no big deal. However, I did want to leave this so others know of the risks. I like the result of my makeup, especially my eyeliner, but there were a couple concerns. I had eyeliner, eyebrows, and freckles done by Sherri. She was very nice and her freckle placement was perfect. The eyeliner is perfectly straight and beautiful. She filled in a scar on my brows which makes a great difference. The issues are that I ended up with a permanent black dot on the whites of my eye, that I believe was from my eyeliner session since afterwards I ended up with a bloodshot area surrounding the dot on my eyeball. Probably no problem on the whites of my eye, but I'm glad it wasn't on my pupil. I also have a small cluster of black ink freckles on my cheek, where I assume the wrong color was used. read more

For years I have felt embarrassed about a facial scar I received from a cat scratch that left one of my eyebrows shaped much differently than the other one. I recently got my bottom eyeliner tattooed by Sherri and I am extremely happy. I got my top liner done a few years ago and Ioved how it was very subtle and natural but did make a difference. I felt I looked tired before and I looked much more awake after having the top liner done. I was a little hesitant to do the bottom since I knew the waterline would not be tattooed. I didn't want it to look overly dark and I wanted something natural. Sherri assured me that she would use a brown color on the bottom and it would be natural. I couldn't be happier, it looks great. Growing up with thin eyebrows really sucks, y'all. That was probably why I was extremely nervous but also very excited to try microblading. I was searching for someone who was affordable and also an expert in doing more of a "natural" look. Well, I'm happy to say that I scored by going to Sherri! Her work-space alone showcases her artistic expression -- simple and elegant. When I went during my first appointment, I told her that I didn't really know what I wanted and she made some suggestions based on my natural eyebrow shape. The process wasn't difficult - she puts the numbing cream on my eyebrows and leaves it on for awhile before the tattooing process. The procedure was surprisingly not painful. It's also very quick. The first time that I saw myself on the mirror, I was so shocked that I wanted to cry. Dramatic? Maybe a little.. but I was just so incredibly happy to finally have fuller eyebrows. I really appreciated how she takes her time to make sure the shapes were even as well. After 2 weeks, I came back for my second appointment. Again, Sherri was very friendly and told me that if I ever need to add anything to just let her know. Keep in mind that depending on your skin type, the tattoo will either stay on for a year or two. It's definitely not permanent, but I think it's worth the $400 + tip. Additionally, she won't charge that same base price when you come back for future touch-ups. DO NOT COME HERE FOR MICROBLADING I came here to get my eyebrows filled and spent 400+$ on it after the first session I noticed a bit of a difference then after about a week my eyebrows went back to normal? They told me to come back for a second session and it'll last longer, I came in and shocker the same exact result, now they want me to come in for a third sessions which is another 50$ on top for what I'm pretty sure will have the same exact results. Sherri did an exceptional job on my eyebrows and freckles. I've been hesitant to get them done because I have extremely light eyebrows and I tried getting them done in the past but they faded and looked patchy. Sherri was so careful, gentle, sweet and truly skilled at what she does. Nothing scabbed or flaked off after a couple days and all of it looks completely natural. Green is super sweet too and so helpful with explaining the process and aftercare. I give her 2stars for being one of cheapest places for eyelash extension in town. Her pricing is simple, by the thickness of my lashes. Her place is nicely decorated, it looks pretty artistic inside. Parking: she told me just bring the tix, but didn't tell me that I needed to pay one dollar. She told me when I was leaving her place. She doesn't consult much. Simply, long, natural, C curl or J curl. She just put 3m tape over my under eye and peel it pretty harshly so be ready for getting a tingling sensation on under eye area after done. Her skill isn't that great. Not my favorite. She puts lashes way too away from the root so lashes don't curl up. Also lashes are not attached solid. I bet the extension won't last long. Her explanation was that lash will not grow well if extension is attached too close to the root. Also suggested me not to come back for another extension for a while since it's not good for healthy lashes. I had eye lash extensions done for 3years in a row back in Korea. The place I went to is in the heart of Kang Nam in Seoul, Korea, they only charge $30 per full set. They stick lashes close to the root and it lasted for 2 to 3 months. In almost every three months, I get a new full set, my lashes had no problem growing back. Also they make it look much fuller than Sherri's. My another concern is that Sherri should not run a business. She doesn't even provide any drinks, doesn't tell me what's going on during the extension, doesn't even provide a fan to dry glue faster, doesn't even bring a mirror to look....she is a horrible business person. Regardless of all other facts, her skill is not qualified to receive 3 and above stars. read more
