He's a chiropractor who can't give straight forward answers to cost and next steps. Felt like a car salesman with a huge ego. Patients are empowered when their doctors partner with them on care. The patient was in the emergency room for 4 days because they wouldn't help with insulin or medical equipment. You can't call, you can only email. They will not respond. I was told I should be grateful someone was talking to me after 5pm on a Friday and if I really needed Insulin just go to the ER. They literally think HUMALOG and NOVOLOG are the same. They yelled at me saying Insulin doesn't need Prior Auths ever and I was harassing them. I will be complaining the CA Board as they have no care for anyone and will kill someone, as they almost killed this patient. Essentially you have to have the perfect case of TYPE 1 for them or they will fire you, gaslight you, and then try and get you to use an insulin that has documentation it doesn't work because they don't want to deal with insurance. The office is very nice and clean. Elvira has always been very nice and helpful. Another Plus is that they validate parking which is great. Had an appointment set up in August and they didn't tell me that I needed to do bloodwork before hand so see if we should reschedule the appointment so I can get my blood work done. They never got back to me. They canceled my appointment and now that was this week and now he's not available until April of next year so how am I supposed to get consistent care when he's always unavailable? He also went on leave for three months. I think that the people who are answering the phone really are not relaying messages. They need to get their act together and communicate. It's really hard for me to message him unless he messages me in MyChart.
