Dr Gofnung is so good that you have to book an appointment months in advance . A n urgent issue requires calling daily to see if a cancellation has opened up a time to be seen earlier. His initial consults are thorough and in depth. Come with your list of questions and concerns , because he will take the time to answer them. At his new UCLA affiliated office in Westlake Village, Ca. he is part of a multi doctor practice that runs efficiently, but feels more like a clinic than a private practice. Once you get through all the various receptionists and finally get an appointment, expect to fill out forms before you arrive. Down load them from the internet. It will save you some waiting room time, otherwise your appointment time is really scheduled 1/2 before you actually see the doctor. So if you're an early bird, you will wait longer. Remember it's a time slot you 're filling. If you're the slightest bit late however, beware. They will threaten to reschedule you.
