The most Important thing I can relate is that, towards the end of his 1st year Ms. Kristin told us of concerns she had with my son's development and alerted us to the possibility of him being neurodivergent and helped us engage with a formal evaluation process. This demonstrated to me that she is not there to take your money - Ms. Kristin truly cares for the wellbeing and development of each child. Additionally, I want to point out that this isn't some "Day Care" attached to somebody's house just using their backyard, nor is it just someplace to park your kid. This is an actual Pre-*School* teaching social skills as well as independence and self-care. They are very devoted to a traditional Montessori education approach which is a long established practice. Everything is very student-centered and the materials are regularly rotated and curated to expose students to new subjects and ideas. The teachers put a lot of thought into the activities for students, even the youngest ones, so it's a really enriching environment. He loved some of the units they worked on: raising butterflies, learning about the life-cycle of a hen, and learning about planets and the solar system. The teachers are also super committed, caring, and communicative. They really know the students and their interests and foster a respectful and fun learning environment. We are first-time parents and felt really supported. I cannot recommend this school highly enough.

Liked: Spacious, safe, facility. Large play ground and spacious classrooms. Curriculum seemed diverse and informative. My son learned to eat unattended, put on his coat, count and recognize letters Food was catered by Rutgers and offered variety of healthy options. Structured environmental. Teachers and aids had good control of the children and taught routine. Offered activities that parents could participate in and other activities for the kids to enjoy The tadpole offered the convenience of seeing daily updates and photos They provided sunscreen, diapers, food and bedding at no extra cost. Managers were responsive to emails and phone calls Plenty of coverage for the amount of kids they had. Having the college students there supervising and engaging the kids helped keep the kids safe. Not so great: During the winter, they did not provide additional indoor activities for those kids that are recovering from illness like the cold. They forced the kids outside in 20 degree weather even if they had a runny nose or coughing. They advised this was a state mandate. They did not provide enough parental engagements. Many activities they said would happen did not occur. As a new parent I would have liked more seminars and events that dealt with parenting and fun activities to engage with my son. I would have liked that they spend more time learning languages. They spend a week learning how to count in Spanish and Chinese but then wasn't revisited. Although I understand kids can play rough, I felt my son came home with more scratches and complaints of being pushed by others than I would have liked. They offered two progress reports during the year with the teacher. I would have liked more parent teacher conferences. Like I mentioned it was a good choice for a first time daycare.

It owns its small garden but with flowers, trees, fruits, and cute animals that kids are often experiencing surprises and learning biology. Two things I love the school the most, one is the dual language environment so he can learn Chinese the most while understand some basic English words. The other is the school meets all the government requirements and passes the inspection and licencing. I would recommend this school.
