When we called to cancel the ride, the owner says "This is why we don't take calls from your hotel." and hangs up. Is this man not in the transportation business? Does he not understand a hotel not having a shuttle service is advantageous to his company? Worse, he happens to be telling this to the hotel's General Manager. Well, if he rather not take calls for our guests, we rather not recommend this service to anyone. Instead, when in Anne Arundel County, MD we highly recommend using Lyft and Uber where one can expect better quality service and guess what, they understand they're in the transportation business and won't gripe if you need to cancel, or insult you later!

On my second time trying to call the phone rang about 5 times, then a representative answered. After giving the reason for my call, pick-up location, and destination I was told the wait would be 45 minutes. That's a fairly long time considering that I was only 5 minutes away, and the destination was a short time away as well, but I decided to wait anyway. After waiting about 20 minutes, the elderly man decided to cancel the taxi cab pickup. When I called the company back they seemed unbothered by the cancellation. Not as if they should seem bothered, but it just seemed as if they were happy to have the pick up cancelled.

I was actually stranded by Rapid Ride (The county's new transportation service). I quickly found out that they are unreliable. I searched to see what my other options were (Uber is not one as they initiate with one price but will take a much higher amount). I saw Ride Taxi on the Yelp listing and called. Within a few minutes I had a ride with a very cool driver. I wasn't going far and the price was reasonable. I made it safely to where I was going and I was in the company of a very friendly and safe driver. They will be my first choice for safety, convenience, and reliability.

Most importantly, we have found them to be 100% reliable, they always arrive when they say they will, even when we are being picked up from Dulles after having been gone a long period of time. When I called them to see if we could arrange a last-minute pickup, they accommodated us with no problems, and were there shortly after we landed.
