Amateur, imo. I called to give dispatch my pickup and dropoff location. They called me back, because they couldn't find it. The address I gave them was *correct*, they apparently went to a different Starbucks (also on Shaw). Took a while to correct this mistake. It took an inordinately long time for the driver to arrive. They had to ask for the pickup/dropoff location several times, after I had already given those to them. The driver's GPS was apparently out so, rather than take the freeway, we wound up driving through downtown Fresno and having to wait for a very slow train. Driver seemed distracted and disoriented. When we got to our location, he couldn't provide change. The whole thing left a rather south taste in my mouth, TBH. read more

BEWARE! UNRELIABLE! I called to schedule an airport pick up for an early flight and they never showed up. When I called to find out where they were, it sounded like they forgot, and the nearest driver was across town. I ended up having to drive myself to the airport and faced a large fee when I picked up my car 2 weeks later. read more

The guy drove fast...and then asks me 'how much do you want to pay" when the total was clearly $20...and because he's using Square, it let's you, the customer decide how much to tip rather than being pressured to tip right off the bat...ugh read more

Read reviews about Bulldog Taxi, decided to try Yellow (559-495-1234), the Lady that answered was super nice & professional, she even called me 20 min later (as she first mentioned, 20 min, spot on!!!) to let me know the taxi was waiting for me on the street outside! The Yellow Cab driver was also courteous/nice, and professional, even asking me to look on the floor of cab before I got out at drop off (quick store run, from home to to store and back) just in case my phone dropped, or something fell out of grocery bag, AWESOME!!!! I'm human, and over 50 years old, something might have happened and my dumba-- wouldn't know it! LOL Apparently Bulldog & Yellow are one in the same. So I tried once again to call for a taxi from this company (Out of sheer desperation) Don the a**hole dispatcher answered the phone. I let him know that I was in front of the Valero gas station. He confirmed and said it would be 15min. Exactly 15min later their shows up but speeds off. I called the dispatcher and told him what happened. This f***ng IDIOT tells me that I should of waived my hands at him. Obviously him and his drivers are incompetent and allergic to money. Needless to say A-1 taxi randomly passed by and I hailed him over and received a decent ride. BEWARE: DONT USE YELLOW CAB IF A MAN ANSWERS. Zero stars! I called for a cab, waited 45 minutes for it, only for me to call them back and have them tell me to wait another 35 minutes AT LEAST. (For the cab that I had ordered almost an hour ago!) UNRELIABLE AND UNCONCERNED. Telephoned this morning at approx. 8:20 a.m. for a cab and was told it would be "15-20 min." I inhaled deeply and said "i must be at my doctor appt. at 9..." At 8:43 i called back and the same dispatcher informed me she "was still looking for someone to pick me up." Looked up Taxis and called Scrip Taxi [had never heard of them]. Was told they'd be here in 5 minutes--and they were. Arrived at the physical therapy appt. 15 min late so received only half treatment. But at least Scrip got me there. I called in about 5 hours before I actually needed a cab for work at 12:20 am I spoke to a man and he assured me I would be picked up on time, however I wasn't I called at 12:25 and he said we showed up at 12 and no one was there. I know for a fact no one came out at 12 because if your not out there they call you and I never received a call. Definitely wouldn't recommend this cab company!!! read more

I would not recommend this cab service. We needed a ride to the airport in August 2018, and the driver did not show up. We were given various excuses when we called the cab dispatcher, and were told he would soon be there. We had no time to wait, and had no confidence he would ever show up, so had to take our car to the airport. There are other cab services. Do not take a chance with Yellow Cab. read more

Awful spurge on the community and giving Fresno a bad name. If #CityOfFresno would revoke their license, I'm sure no one would protest. I watched as a Yellow Cab stopped at a Vallarta to pick up a couple who had gone grocery shopping. Would it have been courteous if the driver had gotten out to help them load groceries? Yes, instead he popped the trunk and sat waiting while they loaded. Ok not his job, but still would have been nice and got them on the road that much sooner. But the worst was while they were loading he proceeds to roll down the passenger window and throw out his garbage into the parking lot...really??! I thought the days of litter bugs ended at age 6. How rude, unprofessional, and illegal according to city code. This company and its behavior should not be tolerated or supported. Shame on you Yellow Cab. read more

I have mixed reviews about this company, I had them take me to a wedding, cab was on time and I got there quick. But when I called to be picked up, they never showed. I finally called this cab company when another (i.e. Latino Taxi) NEVER showed. They were right on it. And, I spoke to someone (dispatcher) who could speak CLEAR English! Within 5 mins. of my call and request to go to the Fresno Yosemite Airport from the Hilton Garden Inn on Shaw Ave., Clovis CA (it should be about $17-18.00, by the way), driver Said was there. A clean and clean smelling taxi (imagine that?). He was a very nice, non-argumentative driver who wouldn't rip me off on the drive. Because of his good attitude, I gave him a lot extra. Horrible. Called 45 min. in advance. No show. Called again, they said "taxi broke down." The sent another cab and 25 minutes later it came down our street, toward us, made a U turn and left!!! Everything was fine. Friendly dispatcher. Call before cab came. Cab came on time. Driver #19 was friendly and helped with bags.

The cab came quickly but the driver did not offer to help my handicapped husband get in, nor did he open the door for me. He seemed very concerned that when we reached our destination he would not have to help my husband out of the cab. He refused to accept taxi script then lied to the dispatcher about doing so. He was rude and surely. My previous experiences with Yellow Cab have been great. What a shame they hired this driver. read more

cab never showed up even after a call to see where it was! missed flight because of it! never trust them!

so on friday night around 9:20pm i called this company for a cab i told them i was at manchester center. and this guy said they would be the. like 20 minutes later i saw a cab and he stoped in the parking lot and 2 ladies ran to the cab and took off. i called back and explained what happend and this JERK said he called me when the driver was in the parking lot and i never answered, that it was my fault. i told him that i had my phone in my hand at all times and it never rang i had no missed calls and he had the nerve to rell me that he does not know whta kind of phone i had but he called. he was practically yelling at me. finally i just told him if he can send another one over and he said yea when there was one available and hung up on me. i waited for about another 15 minutes and the cab never got there. so i called another cab and he aarived with in 13 miutes. Worst cab experience EVER!! My hotel called a cab for us, when we arrived at the destination I tried to pay by card and the driver Hagop Kelejian (Yellow Cab TC335) got very angry saying he doesn't take cards, although there were no signs in the cab saying Cash Only and he didn't inform us of this before the ride. He sat idling in front of the restaurant yelling at us, trying to intimidate us, running up the meter, insisting we pay by cash. We didn't have cash. A friend we were meeting came out and gave him cash although I don't know what we should have done, or what we would have done if we weren't meeting anyone and there was no ATM. He would probably want to drive around all night running up the meter "looking" for an ATM. I told him I would call Yellow Cab about his behavior and he said he wasn't Yellow Cab he was independent, although his cab said Yellow Cab and he was called through Yellow Cab dispatch. I called Yellow Cab about it and they were all dodgy, I kept asking if that was their policy and why they don't accept legal U.S. forms of payment, or notify people of their policies, or if it is acceptable for them for their drivers to aggressively intimidate patrons. The person on the phone basically brushed me off completely. I will be calling the city of Fresno about this, I got a photo of his cab ID and license, and mention the supervisor's refusal to acknowledge the problem as well. I will not be treated abusively by someone I am paying for a service. I will probably never call any cab company again, I have been using Lyft and it is much easier, cheaper, and more pleasant (although it would be hard to have a less pleasant experience than this.) read more
