This was a great experience, and a phenomenal way to welcome in the summer, and celebrate pride! The Flower Market on 7th Street was spacious enough for the amount of people and they have a beautiful array of florals, even mini pineapples were available for our bouquets. Yelpers also got an additional 20% off purchases made in store this day so a HUGE thank you to them for welcoming us into our space! I can't wait to celebrate pride this weekend with the amazing Yelp swag offered I secured a large glittering rainbow fan, and some shades! The henna was beautifully done and there were eight, amazing intricate options being offered by Merry Heart Entertainment! I can't believe this was my first time coming in after driving past this flower shop so many times since I live near downtown. I'm so glad this event gave me the excuse to finally check it out! I loved that they had a great selection of houseplants. I ended up taking home a Pilea that was a really good size and well priced. They also had beautiful hanging plants, string of pearls, potted plants. I saw beautiful pink princess by the cash register and I almost took it with me. The owner was so welcoming and helped me put together my bouquet. She also told me about their Saturday special where all flowers are half off in the cooler after 2 to 4 pm, so I'll definitely be back. I also have my eye on one of their adorable cowgirl boot vases for my next visit. Everything was reasonably priced, and I liked that the flowers were labeled as filler, focal, or texture, which makes building a bouquet a lot easier. They also have a nice selection of greeting cards if you're picking up flowers for someone. The event was so much fun. I have to always thank Kendall first, this event was so great! I love seeing old faces and chatting up with the Yelp director :) Kendall, thank you!! We had our own Yelp bouquet bar setup in the corner, and the staff member picked out our flowers and wrapped them for us. There was even a flower food packet included as well as a card. We could then head over to the table and add stickers and a keychain if we wanted! There were tons more flowers in the cooler and a 50% off section. Additionally, we had a henna table, could get a reading, and there was wine and tasty bites too! I didn't get any just because I spent all of my time talking with my buddies ha! Huge shout-out to Esli, Kendall, Lauren, and Linh as well as the staff who made this event possible. Lauren is the owner of The Flower Market on 7th, and she was so welcoming, friendly, patient and helpful in making our floral bouquet as well as wrapping it so perfectly. Esli was the henna artist and she did a great job. Linh was the fortune-teller who definitely gave me hope based off my reading. Some of the guests received sunglasses and others received a hand held folding bamboo fan to celebrate pride. I opted for the fan, and I also bought a bouquet for my friend. She really liked them. I'm happy I was able to check out this event, especially since a lot of their flowers are affordable, and I'd rather spend it at a small local business. The person at the cash register was kind, attentive, and welcoming. The interior with all the aesthetics was so lively, welcoming and definitely gave off summervibes. We also had some snacks that consisted of cheese, crackers, fruit and something to drink if you wanted. The chips were cute with their Yelp logo. Whoever decorated for the event did an amazing job, it was so aesthetically pleasing and definitely a photo-op area. I wish I took pictures of my bouquet in the photo-op area, but so happy other fellow Yelpers did. Such a great time chatting with friends, making our own bouquets, having my fortune read, and henna. The flower shop is laid out really well be guests. I love the fridge in the shop giving the customers the ability to see what is currently in stock and available to purchase. The owner said that the shop gets shipments every week and that is spectacular for the quality of a bouquet. I have this place saved for my next bouquet purchase. read more

Ok. This place is so cute! It was my first time coming here, and I'm always excited to go to new places. The Yelp event was set up perfectly, build your own boutique, snacks, and bubbly. The lady that helped with the boutique, so so informative and so very nice. She told me all about their business, the classes they hold, and events at their shop. If you're coming in to shop and make a boutique, they have various prices per flower or you can buy them in bundles. This would definitely be worth it to come check out with friends or for an event. Made my own flower bouquet and the flowers were just so pretty. There was henna art, champagne and cheese, cookies, and the cutest little stickers. Everything was fun, but the psychic reading was definitely the most interesting part for me. It was my first time doing something like that and honestly, it was really fascinating. I had such a warm and welcoming time at this family owned through the generations flower shop. A beautiful variety of common and exotic types was all around. Loved my jewel toned Yelp Elite treated bouquet graciously guided by the talented owner. Loved walking in the cooler section with wide array of stunning individual and bouquet types. Had a blast at this super cute event! The flower shop smelled beautiful as soon as you walked in, their different flowers and plants available were gorgeous.
