Thank you Perfect Pint and Yelp OC for the sweet dessert on a warm day! Perfect Pint is not your usual storefront. They have a trailer set up inside The Block (Outlets at Orange) near the AMC theaters. Shout out to Cesar for being courteous and knowledgeable about the offerings. I was greeted immediately while walking towards the trailer. He explained how their ice creams are made and some of its history. Everything is freshly made in the morning and coming in from Palm Dessert. With the Yelp event, we got to try out a half pint of our choice. I got the Salted Caramel half pint. It tasted exactly as described. I appreciate that it was also gluten free. Of course, it's sweet. Ice cream is a dessert, and desserts are sweet. Don't eat ice cream if you can't handle sweets. As for the price, yes it is expensive. $12 for the half pint and $20 for a full pint. A bit hard to justify those prices in this economy, but it's okay to treat yourself once in a blue moon.
Andy was such positive vibes and communicated so well answering so many questions and educating me on various flavors and backstory of Perfect Pint. I ended up getting the souther banana pudding and honey crème brûlée. Both were very rich in flavors, banana pudding being my favorite of the two. I've had 6% milk before coming here and trying the ice cream here, made with even fattier percentages of milk is very unique and indulgent. I do love the passion and quality of ingredients used in these ice creams very much! The frozen custard here is absolutely delicious, although if I were wanting a sweet treat to cool off from the summer heat, I might have opted for the sorbet type, as it may be more refreshing. Thank you CM, and Perfect Pint for an invitation to try such an amazingly well crafted frozen custard.
Thought it was a brick and mortar but it's a cart parked outside of the AMC! Cappuccino toffee crunch's flavor profile was up my alley. The crunchies on top resemble a crumble of like the strawberry shortcake bars. This was good, but what surprised me more was the triple chocolate strawberry, as I'm not big on chocolate ice cream. It was smooth and has a nice mild richness because of its churn. Ate that up real fast. These melt pretty quickly, especially since it's summer and hot out now. I will say that the protein one sounded interesting- it's the sugar free vanilla or chocolate ones made with whey protein and monkfruit. Thank you, Yelp, Perfect Pint, and Hayley!
The previous day, I had attended a YCE in Long Beach. The next morning, I received a "You're in!" email for a YCE in Orange County, much to my surprise. This OC YCE started the same day I received the email, and I could only go that same evening. Two YCEs on back-to-back days? I'll take it! Even if they were in different months lol. My Yelp friend, Jamie M, also got in, and our schedules aligned so we could go together albeit a tight window of time since I was actually heading out of town for the 4th of July weekend. Perfect Pint is located in the Outlets at Orange, specifically in front of the AMC theater. I had been to the Outlets at Orange a few times before, but am not familiar with the labyrinth of this outdoor shopping center. The confirmation email suggested parking in front of Buffalo Wild Wings and then walking over to AMC. However, since we went on a day when USA soccer was playing in a World Cup game, I figured the parking lot would be mostly full, and it'd be hard to find a spot closer to the theater. I ended up parking closer to Saks Off Fifth and walked quite a distance to the theater. Not to watch a movie, of course, but because Perfect Pint was located right by the theater. Perfect Pint is supposed to be like a pop-up food truck, and there was another one called Sugar & Spice that I initially thought was Perfect Pint until I realized it wasn't. Perfect Pint was on the other side of the theater courtyard. There was a party of 2 or 3 placing their order when we arrived, and the first thing I noticed was an error on the Yelp sign. It said "Yelp Elite Event", but it's actually a "Yelp Community Experience", which is quite different that I hope non-Elites who were invited to this YCE didn't feel deterred by the word "Elite". I had seen the list of flavors beforehand on their website and was considering the Southern Banana Pudding since all the other flavors seemed really sweet. However, Jamie had pretty much decided on the Black Forest flavor, so I let her go first to give me time to decide if I wanted to switch to a different flavor. I kept at it with the Southern Banana Pudding, which the employee, Devo, mentioned was his second favorite flavor. Oh?! I was curious what his first was. Turns out it was Cookies & Cream, which oddly enough, I just had the previous evening (not at the other YCE lol). So I guess here, I made the right choice! We saw one open bench by the theater, but it looked quite filthy that we decided to eat our sweet treats by Jamba instead. We tried a spoonful of each other's flavors, and while I did enjoy the Black Forest, I thought it was a bit too sweet, though I didn't realize until later there was a layer of chocolate hidden underneath. The Southern Banana Pudding literally made me think out loud, "Wow, they're going to give Extraordinary Banana Pudding a run for their money!" Yeah, it was that good, especially with the 5 Nilla Wafers embedded in the ice cream. However, the concept of diminishing marginal utility struck again as the succeeding bites didn't seem to taste as good as when I tried the banana pudding from Extraordinary Banana Pudding. However, the biggest reason why I can't give 5 stars like most everyone else did? We were literally asked to write a review on the main business page and even mention Devo's name so his boss could give him some kudos. I didn't actually scan the QR code on the half-pint tub, but Jamie did; she mentioned it took her to their main business page rather than this one, which initiated the screeching brakes sound effect in my head. You mean to tell me Devo was trying to manipulate us and use this YCE as an opportunity to get other Yelpers to violate the review platform's Terms & Conditions by penning a review on the main business page for some complimentary ice cream? Absolutely NOT! And to do it while trying to boost his reputation as an employee? Nope, sorry, you're not going to fool me with that unethical maneuver. Also, while Devo did provide good service, I didn't think it was *that* good, especially in comparison to the servers at the YCE in Long Beach the previous evening. One of my catchphrases I say IRL is "minus one star on Yelp for that!", which most of the time is said in a jocular manner, but this time, it certainly isn't. In fact, I'm saying "minus two stars on Yelp for that!": one for trying to coerce Yelpers to inflate the rating of their main business page, and the other for using this as an opportunity to convince his boss to give him a raise or a promotion. Nevertheless, thank you Hayley H, Yelp Orange County, Devo, and Perfect Pint for the experience. I enjoyed the ice cream, but yikes, it'd be hard to justify spending $12 for a half pint or $20 for a full pint. Coupled with Devo's deplorable tactic from the previous three paragraphs, I'm not inclined to make a return visit, even if they do come to Long Beach.

I told her I wanted to order cappuccino toffee toffee crunch and lemon blackberry streusel. She gave me attitude and told me I can only have one free 1/2 pint. Girl, you think I don't know that?! I'm trying to support the business. I told her I wanted to order an extra flavor. To be honest, I was kind of annoyed at this point. She also didn't tell me that they charge a fee for using card. I had cash on me. Besides that minor inconvenience, I was just happy to eat some ice-cream. I enjoyed the toppings on the ice-creams. Both flavors were a delight, since the ice-cream was so rich. I preferred the lemon blackberry streusel more, since I love fruit flavored ice-cream. I only tried a bit of each flavor! Overall, it was an ok experience. I did wish the worker was a bit friendly and explained more to me about the flavors. I did enjoy both flavors, and thought it was a delicious treat. It is a bit pricey for half a pint, but not if you're sharing it with someone. I'll come back to check the other intriguing flavors.

This told me we must be in for something good.. Once my girl and I were up, I received my confirmation. Andy was the friendly employee who handled our business. He gave us the breakdown on their different flavors, how they are made, where this all began - the whole book! Very friendly and educated guy. Southern Banana Pudding: An easy 9 out of 10. The flavor was PERFECT. The nilla waffers had lost their crisp, a bit mushy which felt odd to me, but didn't stop us from enjoying. Lemon Blackberry Streusel: A solid 8 out of 10. Good combination of flavors, but the lemon was a bit overpowering for us. Still a delicious treat with a nice crunch, similar to a broken down graham cracker. The blackberry swirl was what I was going for. I am very pleased that I was able to get in on this even last minute. Thank you Perfect Pint, Yelp OC, and Hayley for another beautiful opportunity.
Super easy to find and perfect for this warm week!! I was happy to try out : cappuccino toffee crunch-- the toffee was what pulled me in. It was the perfect amount of coffee and toffee Honey crème brulee- recommended by the employee and wow I can see why. It's so creamy and milky and sweet. Reminded me of milk and honey. The crème brulee swirls were perfect I couldn't help but eat them when I got them in the car. Had to save some for later and it definitely harden up but still the same delicious flavor. I'm thankful to try them and so excited to try their other flavors! Perfect bite to bring into the movies. Hehe
What a perfect way to end the day with this sweet treat at perfect pint. When we walked up the gentleman that was helping us was over the top, friendly and helpful with telling us about each flavor as well as his personal favorite was. We ended up landing on the cookies and cream, which is the perfect childhood favorite. I loved the concept of the ice cream spot being inside of an airstream type of pop-up. I hope that it's here to stay! Thank you again for that wonderful sweet treat
Thank you, Hayley & Perfect Pint, for perfect summer perk! Perfect Pint is a "ice cream truck stall" stationed by AMC at the Block of Orange. The employee is such a cheerful person and he gave me a brief introduction of how the company started in Palm Springs. He recommended a couple of his favorite flavors but I opted for the Banana Pudding. :)) The personal pint is so cute and I sat by a shade to eat. The texture is very creamy and flavorful but not overwhelming sweet which is good.
A 1/2 pint of Cappuccino Toffee Crunch sure hit the spot on a hot summer afternoon! The coffee flavor was mild, but the topping of toffee crunch put it over the top. Hubby shared his 1/2 pint of Salted Caramel. The salted caramel drizzle and the milk chocolate-covered almonds made it extra special. I was surprised to find Perfect Pint was a food truck at the shopping center and not an actual store. I had trouble signing in with the QR code, but the staff was able to find me on his written list. Hubby paid for his ice cream, which we found out was cashless and had to settle for an emailed rather than a paper receipt. Creamy treat, but at $12 for a 1/2 pint, it will have to be an occasional indulgence. Thank you, Dia, YelpOC, and Perfect Pint for letting us sample your wares.
I got there at 12 today. Not many people were in a line. Today was so hot and I really wanted to have ice cream. I pick up Black Forest for dessert and went to the restaurant near there. My hubby is chocolate lover, he really liked the french chocolate creamy flavors w soft custard cream. Cute booth looked like trailer. You can't miss it right in front of AMC. Thanks for the great Summer treat by Hayley at Yelp and Perfect Pint. 1/2 pint is $12. High quality, so flavorful!
This place hit the spot on a warm summer's day. They have an array of interesting flavors so I had a hard time choosing. I finally settled on the nutella smores and got a half pint of lemon black berry streusel as an extra. Admittedly, 12$ for a half pint is pricier than what I'm used to but the ice creams were creamy, decadent, and beautifully layered. Also it's best to bring cash because there's a dollar charge on f credit cards. Nutella Smores- This is an elevated version of a beloved childhood treat. The hazelnut chocolate flavor was strong and you get soft marshmallow and swirls of chocolate syrup. Finished with biscuit pieces. Lemon Blackberry Streusel- This is fruity and refreshing. The creamy lemon base is smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. The blackberry swirl is a lovely contrast with flavor. The crumbly streusel gives it an extra layer of texture. The Perfect Pint is an easy to spot chrome trailer in front of the AMC Theaters in the Outlets at Orange. I had the pleasure of meeting Andy who was friendly and helpful. He described a lot about their brand including that its hand-made daily with minimal ingredients. They use 18% fat cream versus most places that use 10% so it is extra creamy. They also use many locally sourced ingredients, especially with their local collaboration flavors. I mentioned a few flavors I had scouted out ahead of time, and Andy told me every intricate detail about each flavor. I ended up going with the Nutella S'mores. When you open the container, it's clear that it's hand-packed since it is topped with graham crackers, marshmallows, and a chocolate drizzle arranged in a deliberate pattern. I took it home and ate it right away. It had a great creamy texture and rich flavor. The hazelnut flavor is definitely there mixed in nicely with chocolate. This flavor was modeled to be similar to a Ferrero Rocher. There was a good amount of chocolate chunks, marshmallows, and graham cracker. Even though this is a high quality premium treat, it seems a little pricey at $12 for a half-pint, or $20 for a full pint. If I was at the Outlets and had a sweet tooth, I would definitely return to try some more flavors. The southern banana pudding, black forest cake, lemon blackberry streusel, and triple chocolate raspberry flavors also caught my eye. They also have a few sugar free options. thank you hayley, yelp and ofc perfect pint! perfect pint is located at the block, iykyk :D perfect pint runs their business out of an airstream great service so many options i ended up with: CAPPUCCINO TOFFEE CRUNCH SOUTHERN BANANA PUDDING NUTELLA S'MORES one was complimentary , the others i purchased. they were all really tasty, idk if i could chose a favorite! def will visit again while i shop! read more
Thank you, Hayley and Yelp OC for this great experience at Perfect Pint! The small ice cream spot was easy to find. It was right in front of AMC movie theater. Andy was the ice cream man who helped us decide which flavor to try. He was a very knowledgeable about the different flavor pallets of the different ice creams. But convinced us to get the coffee- toffee ice cream, and the cookies and cream. My husband and I had a bite of each after visiting the ice cream store. But took the rest home. What made the ice cream even better was that we made it into an Affogato!!! Holy moly it was delicious! Like a lot of other yelpers mentioned, the price of $12 for half a pint and $20 for a full pint was too steep for my blood to pay for ice cream. But it'll be a nice treat once in a blue moon. Or to elevate your Affogato one day. read more

This place hit the spot on a warm summer's day. They have an array of interesting flavors so I had a hard time choosing. I finally settled on the nutella smores and got a half pint of lemon black berry streusel as an extra. Admittedly, 12$ for a half pint is pricier than what I'm used to but the ice creams were creamy, decadent, and beautifully layered. Also it's best to bring cash because there's a dollar charge on f credit cards. Nutella Smores- This is an elevated version of a beloved childhood treat. The hazelnut chocolate flavor was strong and you get soft marshmallow and swirls of chocolate syrup. Finished with biscuit pieces. Lemon Blackberry Streusel- This is fruity and refreshing. The creamy lemon base is smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. The blackberry swirl is a lovely contrast with flavor. The crumbly streusel gives it an extra layer of texture. The Perfect Pint is an easy to spot chrome trailer in front of the AMC Theaters in the Outlets at Orange. I had the pleasure of meeting Andy who was friendly and helpful. He described a lot about their brand including that its hand-made daily with minimal ingredients. They use 18% fat cream versus most places that use 10% so it is extra creamy. They also use many locally sourced ingredients, especially with their local collaboration flavors. I mentioned a few flavors I had scouted out ahead of time, and Andy told me every intricate detail about each flavor. I ended up going with the Nutella S'mores. When you open the container, it's clear that it's hand-packed since it is topped with graham crackers, marshmallows, and a chocolate drizzle arranged in a deliberate pattern. I took it home and ate it right away. It had a great creamy texture and rich flavor. The hazelnut flavor is definitely there mixed in nicely with chocolate. This flavor was modeled to be similar to a Ferrero Rocher. There was a good amount of chocolate chunks, marshmallows, and graham cracker. Even though this is a high quality premium treat, it seems a little pricey at $12 for a half-pint, or $20 for a full pint. If I was at the Outlets and had a sweet tooth, I would definitely return to try some more flavors. The southern banana pudding, black forest cake, lemon blackberry streusel, and triple chocolate raspberry flavors also caught my eye. They also have a few sugar free options. Lemon Blackberry Streusel - Delish! I like trying more unique flavors so when they recommended this one, they were spot on. It's not overly sweet, which is one of my concerns with desserts. What a nice surprise to redeem this YEE on a hot sunny day in OC. I chose the Cappuccino Toffee Crunch flavor and it was quite surprising. Very decadent and creamy. Andy gave a brief intro about the owners and how these perfect pints are made daily from Palm Dessert and then driven to various CA locations. Now that's super fresh! With how hot the weather's been, this frozen custard was MUCH needed! I haven't had too much frozen custard before, but this ended up exceeding my expectations - I forgot how luxurious that texture could be. The banana pudding was just what I needed as a banana pudding fiend, and my friend's lemon blackberry streusel was perfect for the summer heat. Thank you Yelp OC for this experience! Cute the little airstream located by AMC at the outlets in Orange. The attendant Andy was super nice, very informative and let us know how they source their ingredients. I went with my kid and since we both love Nutella, we went with the Nutella s'mores. It was good, but VERY sweet. Like almost too sweet for me. They had said it tasted similar to ferrero rocher, and it did, but even sweeter than those chocolates. There aren't any tables or anything nearby, so it's definitely a to go kind of place, would be nice to have a few little tables and chairs for people that would like to eat there, since it's ice cream and you can't really hold on to it for too long without it melting. So for those reasons, 4 stars from my experience. read more
We stopped by on Monday night, and the guy helping us was SO nice! His suggestion was on point. We got the Banana Pudding, and it was fantastic. Great texture- sort of like cookie dough on some parts, but also creamy at the same time. Flavor got better as we had more! They are located in front of the Fragrance Outlet, just head towards AMC. It's misleading cause the name is perfect pint but they give you half a pint. I bought another pint and was taken aback by the $15 price tag. The half pints weigh nothing too, even with a pint, I feel like a pint from the store weighs more. I got the Coachella Valley Date cause I love Coachella and dates. It tastes like a nice slice of apple pie with the cinnamon and walnuts as the topping. I also got cappuccino toffee crunch and I'd skip it. I'd rather spend the money on Coffee Lovers Only at Cold Stone. It tasted like what a Sees Candies ice cream version would taste like. Very rich but something is still missing. Also, there's a La Michocana store by the Adidas store so they have competition. I can't justify $15 for half a pint in this economy, especially with the store bought versions being just as good and better. They do have sugar free options though which is a plus. read more
Never heard of Perfect Pint before this and appreciated the time being able to try them out. Perfect Pint is located in the Outlets of Orange near the movie theater in a small trailer. Approaching Perfect Pint, there were only a couple people ahead so didn't take long to order. Caesar was there who was hustling in and out of the trailer to help explain the concept and what we could order. This was a French style ice cream with 1/2 pints and full pints to order. Unfortunately, no sampling which is a bummer, so you had to rely a bit on your favorite flavors. We also asked Caesar for his favorites as well as the owners favorites. We ended up going with the cappuccino toffee 1/2 pint. We were also given some stickers. We tried the toffee on a nearby bench. Presentation-wise, we appreciated the toffee and chocolate nibs on top of the ice cream. And although a little hard to dig in at first, it was easy to eat from that point on. How can I not be excited for this ice cream Yelp Community Experience. Being a big ice cream fan I had to go on the first day I received noticed I go into this experience. Perfect Pint is a cute little ice cream stand that specializes in the creamiest ice cream. They offer a wide variety of flavors made daily with a fat content of 18%. It is super decadent and over 10 flavors to choose from. Their ice creams come in ready to be picked up one pint cups and 1/2 pint cups. After speaking to the nice staff there, Andy, I went with their Cappuccino Toffee Crunch which was a super creamy cappuccino ice cream that was topped with toffees. Yum! It had the perfect consistency and sweetness. I want to come back and try the salted caramel flavor. I love that they use high ingredients, Madagascar vanilla beans, and some organic ingredients. They even had gluten free options. And their ice creams have no preservatives or colors/dyes compared to other ice cream shops. The stand is super cute and is located right next to the theater at the Outlets of Orange. Thank you Yelp OC, Hayley, Andy, and the staff from Perfect Pint for making this happen for us. I wish I read the fine print, which explained where it was located. Figured I could just look at the directory at the shopping center, but that's not the case! It's in a little trailer to the side of the AMC movie theater. Quite the little walk to get there depending on where you park. The employee knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned the Yelp elite event, which is always nice. I got the lemon blackberry streusel and also bought cookies n cream for my kids. Both were delicious! Pretty pricey at $14 for a small serving including tax and small tip, though. read more
Stopped by Perfect Pint at The Outlets at Orange after dinner, and it was the perfect sweet treat! Huge shoutout to Devo, who was incredibly patient while I went back and forth deciding on flavors. He never rushed me and was super friendly the whole time. I ended up getting the Lemon Blackberry Streusel, and it was delicious! The bright lemon flavor paired perfectly with the blackberry and brown sugar streusel. You can really taste the quality, and I love that they use premium ingredients. If you're looking for a great post-dinner dessert, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors! read more
Quite literally, "perfect"! The cute ice cream truck offers a decent range of flavors and sizes to choose from. I like how they offer either a full pint or a 1/2 pint size, so it's great to walk around the outlet and snack on while you're shopping. I thought the prices were kind of crazy when I first saw the menu, but for the quality of ice cream that you're getting, it seems just about right. The cookie part of Cookies 'N Cream flavored ice cream is my favorite, and I was completely surprised by the amount of cookie that was in it! Usually, ice cream companies skimp on adding the cookie -- adding mainly vanilla ice cream with a couple pieces of cookie here and there. * Cookies 'N Cream: 10/10 - plenty of cookie pieces to enjoy! The worker who helped us out was super sweet and even gave us some stickers! I'm so glad that they decided to come to the Outlets at Orange because it was honestly getting kind of boring without a nice dessert place. The truck is located on the right side of the AMC movie theater and was pretty easy to spot. I definitely plan on coming back on my own more often in the future! So delicious! Truly graceful ice cream. I don't know if it's quite worth the price, but it is definitely high quality enough I'd order it again. I know a lot of folks do cookies & cream, but you have to bring a lot to the table for me to say this is one of the more higher tier examples of the flavor I've ever tried. Not only was the frozen custard dense, rich, and flavorful but the cookies also seemed genuinely fresh, which a lot of other frozen custards and ice creams cannot claim. The stand attendant was super courteous and helpful. I even peppered with questions of how well the business was doing, the strategy, and even what the bestsellers were. He handled all my questions with aplomb. Lastly, I think it's a great location. I come to this AMC monthly at least and parking a premium frozen custard out front is a godsend. I definitely adore the placement and ambiance around this franchise spot. Is it the best value for the money? Maybe not. But it's still pretty good to be tempting as an occasional treat and that's good enough to get my support. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem next to the theater at the Block (aka the Outlets at Orange but let's be honest, we all still call it "The Block"). Perfect Pint is a frozen custard mobile stand that sells an interesting variety of flavors. The gentleman working there was friendly and gave us some good recommendations. We picked the honey crème brûlée, which ended up being an excellent choice. I loved the hard caramelized layer on top, just like a traditional creme brûlée! It was the perfect treat for such a hot day, and the half pint was just the right size to share with my husband. Next time I'm walking around the Block/Outlets at Orange, I will have to stop by again to try one of their other fun flavors! read more
Here I am, sauntering in what used to be known as "the Block" in Orange, searching for this perfect pint ice cream shop. I honestly expected a shop in front of the movie theatre. Imagine my surprise when it was such a pretty cool trailer. Andy was very nice in introducing me to this ice cream, saying that due to the higher fat content, it is even better than gelato. I find that hard to believe. Andy also spoke about the founders of this place, possessing a culinary degree before opening this shop. I tried the honey creme brulee ice cream, the highest-rated ice cream there! Literally, the caption says it will change your life, and honestly, it did. Andy was right. It was even more decadent than the gelato ice cream I had in Italy. It was probably the best ice cream I had ever tasted. It wasn't too sweet either, but thick and delicious with every bite. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of the ice cream, almost 20 dollars a pint, I had to deduct a star if I were to buy it. It's not affordable but I would tell you that if I were a millionaire, I would certainly be able to purchase this ice cream, as it is worth every bite. read more
Tried the pistachio raspberry and although I wanted more pistachio flavor, the base of the ice cream itself did feel like quality. The berry was good. The white chocolate pieces are embedded into the ice cream quite naturally but in uneven pieces. This is a bit pricier for ice cream but they do try to use quality ingredients. Parking is easy since it's at the outlets. As email instructions mentioned, you can find them in front of AMC. Ice cream is also a great way to relax during the summer heat. read more
What a fun concept! This would be the best treat to bring into the movie theater. After thorough consideration, I went with the Southern Banana Pudding flavor. They had a good mix of classic flavors and unique flavors. The service was excellent, the worker explained all of their top flavors and personal favorites to help me make my choice. I was very pleased with my choice, the whole vanilla wafers inside were the perfect touch. I can't wait to come try more flavors next time I find myself shopping or seeing a movie at the Block. read more

They were generous with their Nilla wafers in the ice cream and the bananas were fresh. I liked how it wasn't a banana pudding FLAVORED ice cream, but an ACTUAL banana pudding ice cream. I noticed that typically the price for a 1/2 pint would be $12, which is pretty steep in my opinion! Overall, the banana pudding ice cream here really stood out to me, but I'm not sure if I'd go here frequently because of the price. It's definitely a treat! read more

Thank you to the Yelp OC team / CMs for organizing this yelp experience! I did not know of this business until I visited for this, and it was great discovering another local business. They specialize in frozen custard made fresh daily with lots of different flavors. Their custards are made with 18% fat, which means it is super creamy and decadent! Perfect sweet treat for the summertime, and nice that it's located in a mall as well as near the AMC and parking lot. The staff were super friendly and helpful as well. I tried the nutella smores flavor which was a hazelnut chocolate custard with graham crackers, toasted marshmallows, and chocolate chunks. It was nice that the toppings were distributed throughout the custard. I felt that a 1/2 pint was def enough for me since this was a sweeter dessert, but I enjoyed every last bite! I'd be interested in the banana pudding and the honey creme brulee next time :) read more
Thank youuuuuu Yelp!!! I have tried this before but a different flavor so today I wanted to try something new. I was debating between a simple and plain flavor or something with a little more. I really like banana pudding so I decided to get that one! I don't regret my choices one bit because I was delicious. They didn't skimp on the wafers and the sweetness level was just right! There was enough wafer for each bite and it wasn't overly sweet which made my experience so much better than it already was! I usually don't do dessert before dinner, but this was the exception! I came around 7:30 on a Thursday night. Seemed like quite a few people were stopping by, which was a good sign! One of the workers (didn't catch her name but she was incredibly kind) warmly greeted me and got me started. Seriously, A+ staff. I looked at the menu beforehand and after discussing their different flavors, I opted for the Black Forest cake flavor. There were a lot of very cool options for flavors and I can tell it's a very "gourmet" ice cream vibe. My ice cream was also gluten-free, so that's cool! I grabbed my ice cream and left and ate it in my car (I don't like melted ice cream--I think that's why if I came back I'd have to keep eating the entire half pint in one-go, since I'm a bit of a drive away). It was super good! It was layered nicely and the hints of chocolate and real cherries were super yummy. I can tell why it's a popular flavor. I agree with other comments about price. While we're lucky to try this all for free, it's hard to justify $12 for this size of ice cream. I think it's also difficult to have a pop-up ice cream stand instead of a brick-and-mortar, but it seemed to be doing good, so it seems like they're thriving nonetheless (I also want to note it's right in front of a parking area and the AMC, which is a smart location). Perfect Pint is located in a trailer just in front of AMC. I accidentally came a day late and missed the Yelp Elite event, so they weren't able to honor the free half-pint offer. They did give me a discount instead, which I appreciated. They were also out of the flavor they had recommended, so I ended up trying the salted caramel. The frozen custard was rich, creamy, and delicious, with a great texture. The only downside was the price. I was told I'd receive a big discount, but it still came out to almost $9.50 for a half pint, down from the regular price of about $12. While the custard was very good, it's hard for me to justify paying that much. On a positive note, Andy provided great service. He took the time to explain the different flavors, answered my questions, and made friendly conversation, which made for a welcoming experience. read more

There were unique flavor combinations as well as traditional flavors like Vanilla and Cookies and Cream. My flavor of chocolate & raspberry was delicious. Check in was easy I just gave my name to the worker. They had a checklist to make sure you were on the invite list. There's a lot of flavors. I really want to try the banana pudding, but ended up getting the cappuccino coffee crunch. The coffee flavor was strong and the toffee was so good. They have other locations as well.
