Thank you to the Yelp Washington Eastside and the Matcha Magic Bellevue team for this matcha-tasting drop-in event. I loved checking out this new chic matcha space and spent the day working in the cafe. I got to pick between a smoothie and a matcha drink; I opted for the strawberry glaze smoothie because I was really interested in the collagen included in it. It was nice and sweet and a perfect healthy treat. On top of their normal menu, they also have 3 seasonal items, which included hojicha as well. I'm excited for this space, which is also in Redmond and Capitol Hill. I'm really excited to try the purple rain next time -- I watched someone order it and it looked phenomenal with the matcha cloud.
Located in old Bellevue with parking available next to the store! You just let the staff know your license plate number. Ordered the hojicha magic latte which was delicious! Highly recommend hojicha as it is roasted and has a deeper flavor. Coconut smoothie was delicious as well and not too sweet. Amazing and friendly service. Sadly they do not accept tips. It's funny that it's called matcha magic but I've never gotten any matcha here. Anyways the smoothies here are great, I got the dreamsicle which is mostly a pineapple smoothie (it's much stronger than other ingredients). It brings me right back to dole planation in hawaii and I miss dole whip right away... It's great, but I hope the other ingredients can make more impact on the drink as well. I was there on a weekday afternoon and it was quite empty. It's great for chilling or chatting as it's not busy there. Once again, thank you Alexa and yelp for letting me try their other drinks :)
Great, very convenient event - lots of time to get the drinks, lots of choices, and very quick! It was particularly nice that we could get any of the matcha drinks, because there were seasonal matcha drinks that I hadn't tried before - I got a pumpkin matcha and it was really good! I also got to taste the Strawberry smoothie, which was surprisingly not too sweet - I didn't get a smoothie because they seemed like they'd be too sweet, but it wasn't an issue.
Matcha Magic is a small, cozy café located in a strip mall on Main Street in Old Bellevue. I visited in the afternoon and had no trouble finding parking in the lot next to the building. Just make sure to check in with the staff and give them your license plate number to get two hours of validated parking. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly and helpful when recommending drinks. A few people were sitting with laptops, and the space felt calm and nicely decorated -- a good spot to relax or get some work done. I ordered the Strawberry Glaze Smoothie, which had banana, strawberry, avocado, dates, collagen, tremella, and almond milk, swirled with strawberry purée and topped with coconut cream. It was smooth, creamy, and not too sweet, with the banana and strawberry flavors standing out the most. Thanks to Alexa, and to Matcha Magic and its staff (Aubrey and Jessica) for hosting this event. I'd come back to try more drinks when I'm in the area.
The banana matcha was more on the green tea leafy side but the banana and coconut cream's sweetness complimented it so well. You can really taste the matcha, so I'm sure they used a generous portion. There are plenty of seats and I saw some people were working there too. The service was friendly. Definitely would come back to try more of their drinks.
Thank you for having a Yelp Elite event here! I've driven by this shop many times but I haven't been inside yet, and it was a fun experience. The space and decor were super fun and cute. I ordered the strawberry matcha since I've had this drink before at different cafes and I wanted to compare. The matcha is from Shizuoka, the matcha tasted great, earthy and delicious, they whisked right on the counter in front of us. I just wish that it was a bit more matcha for my drink. Might be a personal preference, but I'd love a stronger presence of matcha. I would love to go again and try all the other drinks and açaí bowls! Plus free parkin
Starting out great getting a parking spot (validated 2-hr parking). I decided on the Strawberry Glaze smoothie, which is very banana and strawberry forward, refreshing and delicious. The inside is beautiful (pink and light green) and spacious. There were about 6 tables, and a birdcage couch that looks very comfy. Service is great. The cashiers are friendly. Something to note, the store has a "no tipping" policy.
Matcha Magic on Main made me a magical mocha. mmmmmm (say that 10 times fast) Got there right as the store was opening - the lights were just getting flicked on when I came in to claim my free drink. The staff dutifully checked my name off the list and got to work on the drink. At first, I couldn't believe it wasn't coffee, actually. It was very chocolate dominant and the matcha taste came at the end to remind the imbiber "I'm not coffee!" I supplemented this with a Toast flight of Avocado, Everything, and Lox which made for a nice and full breakfast to start the last working day of the week! I actualy preferred the simplicity of their toasts vs the heavy handedness of Bellden's, and on top of it they offer a Doordash Dine-Out coupon to make the total package that much sweeter. Glad to check out this main street gem
Location is in downtown old bellevue. Usually not a great place to find parking but they have parking that is validated !!! Cute space with little table and bright atmosphere. Service was great! Very informative. Got the cloudy coconut smoothie. Yum. But would recommend also the hojitcha latte. Will have to come back to try Avo toast

This is hands down one of the best Yelp Elite Week events I have been to. I absolutely cannot stop thinking about how delicious my drink was. But first let's start with the vibe. The spot is cozy and cute and has all the perfect social media content available for photos. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. The customer service was excellent as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. I ordered the ube matcha and it was smooth and rich and creamy even with the oat milk. Every sip I enjoyed thoroughly and was just amazed at how delicious the entire experience was. The matcha was smooth and creamy. Not overly earthy and perfectly balanced. I can't wait to go back. Nothing like a good dose of Matcha Magic, to kick off the weekend! I got the Matcha Colada, to help me reminiscence on our bygone summertime vibes and the Cloudy Coconut, to help me embrace the true PNW weather, that is upon us now. Both delicious and lovely! I've always wanted to try this place but always get distracted by the dozen other bubble tea places in Bellevue so I'm super grateful for this opportunity to try out their matcha and learn that they also had smoothies. They had such a super cute aesthetic and the ambiance and environment here is perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. Unfortunately their Wi-Fi was out when we visited but I could totally spend a few hours working here when that is back up read more

I stopped into Matcha Magic for the Yelp Elite experience today and definitely highly recommend this super cute spot. I ordered a Coconut Matcha Cloud with organic pink coconut water and matcha cream and it was so delicious and refreshing. I especially love that it was just slightly sweet, which was perfect for me. This was a great choice for my post Pilates workout. I would have loved to have had a sweet treat or even a savory pastry too go with my drink as I'd already eaten lunch. So if I had one recommendation for Matcha Magic, it would be to add some cookies or pastries that are matcha themed, or go well with matcha beverages to go with their delicious drinks. The employee who took my order and checked me in me was super nice and helpful, and I'll definitely come back again for the matcha coconut cloudn and to try some other drinks and their avocado toast. Cloudy Coconut: This smoothie was very filling and yummy! It was thick. Everything tasted great all mixed together. It was on the sweet side, but didn't feel too sugary. The staff was very friendly! I been here a long time ago so it's been a while. You just come up to the counter tell them you're here for yelp and they take your name and you get to order. It's pretty smooth sailing. You get a choice of a drink. I wanted a smoothie and asked what's their recommendation. I thought she was going to tell me the blue drink or the strawberry one since those two seems to be the most popular, but she told me the dreamsicle. So I decided to try it out. It's very tropical and refreshing. Very yummy. Definitely would get again. The place has a few people relaxing or working there so it was semi loud. Overall, thank you yelp for the event! read more
Came in on Monday bright & early for this Matcha Magic! Menu: Diverse offerings of matcha & hojicha. They also have açaí bowls! Which we didn't get but will be back to try. Service was chill & she explained the options. We ordered the coconut matcha cloud & matcha magic (with lion's mane). The flavor was light and not too sweet, a huge compliment & win :) We had a good experience, no yelp swag this time around but always appreciate the small businesses hosting these events. This is my first time trying to cloudy coconut and it was sweeter than expected, but still delicious and the sweetness was not over powering. There was also a strong coconut flavor so it's perfect for coconut lovers! Service was excellent, I got my smoothie quickly and there was plenty of seating. Decor is beautiful as well, the interior is all pink & there is a beautiful mural on the back of the building. read more

Back again for another yelp event. I got the strawberry glaze smoothie and it was the perfect blended strawberry and matcha. The coconut cream wasn't overwhelming. It was a little sweet but that's just because of the ingredients since the didn't add any sugar. The people working there were super nice and gave me suggestions for their favorites. The toasted matchamallow drink is delicious! It tastes like smores with matcha which is such a great idea. Definitely recommend. There are a lot of other different flavors for their smoothies and matcha lattes that all sound delicious so it was difficult to choose. I ordered the Cloudy Coconut smoothie because I was intrigued by the description and look of the drink, and it came out looking like a blue planet haha. Such a gem in Bellevue! I was thrilled to visit for a Yelp Elite event and had the best experience. The barista who took my order was so kind and helpful- she gave me great recommendations since I'm still new to the world of matcha. I ended up getting the Cloudy Coconut Matcha and paired it with one of their delicious toasts. Both were amazing! Such a nice and cozy spot with great drinks! I got the matcha pumpkin latte and the pumpkin and matcha balanced each other out really well! What is also nice is that they have a parking lot, which makes it convenient since parking on Main St Bellevue can be a challenge. Thank you Yelp and Matcha Magic for this experience! read more
My friend and I came and got a magic mocha and the toasted matchamallow. The drinks are tasty and the inside is really cute. Parking is tricky. Make sure if it's a spot that will get validated on the business do not pay first. Give your license plate inside and you get 2 free hours. This is my second visit I will come back if I'm in the area. read more
Grabbed my strawberry glaze smoothie today and it was very rich and creamy with a hint of being too sweet. I heard this is the Erewon dupe and had to try it out. The interior is very cute and completely empty when I went around 11am. They had two staffers and when I put in my order, one of them disappeared in the back and after 5 minutes, I asked the other staff if they make the drinks in the back to which she said they did. Seemed a little odd that they don't make it in front of you. Overall, very tasty treat! read more
