For the event, we were served clam, clam casino, and green mussels. The clams were unfortunately over-cooked and chewy and we could not eat all of them. The clams casino were cooked perfectly although they had a little too much breadcrumbs for my personal tastes. The mussels were done well. The best part of the meal was the homemade hot sauce- amazing flavor and the perfect amount of heat that was spicy but didn't obscure the flavors of the dish. It was simply delicious! Steve is very personable and is willing to stand by your table for a full conversation. We wish him well on his future plans with running a year-round restaurant!

A burger, small fries and a milkshake was offered. How fun is that?! My choice of pistachio milkshake came first to the table. We couldn't resist and finished it before even thinking it was supposed to be a dessert. It was delicious - the best part of our meal. My Yelper Burger was topped with Stuck Sauce, cheese, and egg. Homemade salsa verde came on the side. It was good only because I like eggs in general. I should have added some salt, but the salsa spiced everything a little. I'm not sure what was wrong with the fries. It tasted like my home kitchen fiasco when I tried to make a healthier version using an air fryer. Unfortunately, the fries were dry and shriveled without much flavor. The whole experience would have been much nicer, if my partner's order wasn't screwed up. Also, his favorite burger was a lame version of what he got twice before -- a big disappointment. I didn't see the owner at the time of our visit. Something has definitely changed for the worse since our first visit. It's a very casual place and the main focus should be on the food and its quality. Come on Stack Burger! Anthony, I believe one of the owners took care of us who was friendly made us all feel welcome, explained are available choices and more about the restaurant and how the Demon burger won at Taste of Buffalo. My choice was the Salsa Verdae burger which was unique with ingredients and flavor. My small chocolate milkshake was creamy, not to thick. The fries were average, little cold, and too spicy for my taste. Overall everything else tasted great Thanks Stack Burger, and our former CM Alex for setting this up as his last Elite Week perk prior to moving to Long Beach, CA .

Since Nickel City has come back to Buffalo, I have made it a point to try to be there all weekend…read moreif possible. With all of the fun vendors, celebrities, and things to see and try, it's one of the most fun weekends of the summer. This year I went on Friday and Sunday and it was a blast. So many great celebrities there. From American Pie, WWE, and even some of the X-Men voice actors, it was so cool seeing and chatting with some of them. My favorite part though is going through all the vendors and seeing all of the great art pieces and businesses showcasing some of their best things for the weekend. I always try to add a few things to my wall every year from this event and this year was no different. It was such a fun weekend. Thanks to all the vendors and everyone who is part of this event. It really is one of my favorite weekends of the year!

We spent about 2 hrs there, reading the placards, but mostly enjoying the stunning photography and videos. There's comfortable seating available, and don't hesitate to ask the "guide" questions; he's full of knowledge that he's enthusiastic about sharing. Handicap accessible! and, appropriate for children over the age of 10 or so (for attention span reasons, not due to content).
