Karen makes everything and anything fun. The kids feel so welcome and loved. My favorite times are all of the moments but especially spending time in senior living homes with the children. In 13 years of celebrating 3 children birthdays yearly, this was one of the best Birthday parties we have experienced. Karen planned out every detail to perfection, the house was inviting and decorated, the tea party room looked absolutely amazing! The table was laid out with pretty tea cups and saucers and fairy creamers and daisy teapots and dainty figurines. It was truly special. She even incorporated my daughters favorite color and theme into the party. The girls got to choose fancy hats and feathery boas, there was dancing and singing and celebrating, It was all so enchanting! Karen has a true gift for these little people, she was very skill full in keeping the focus on the Birthday Girl and truly celebrating my Daughters special day! I enjoy exercising and lifting weights, and have minimal dance experience, belly dancing does not come naturally for me, so it find it challenging yet very rewarding. I like to think it kinda softens my rough edges :) For me, Alexandra's classes are something I do for myself. Something that I can do to get my head away from work, and away from the kids, and all the hustle and bustle of each day. It's fun, and enjoyable, and the music is pretty awesome too. The teachers were motivated, caring and attentive. The kids learned something new every day. They "graduated" to upper campus in fall of 2023. Both girls had wonderful experiences. Some other parents asked about the turnover amongst the staff. Admin has such clear goals and expectations, and they do such a good job vetting their staff that turnover was hardly even noticed. The new staff slotted right in, continuing the existing program with no disruptions to the kids' schedules. And each new member was a wonderful addition to my girls' lives. Both of our girls entered TK well above grade level in their numeracy and literacy skills. And it's not like her parents are geniuses. We cannot recommend Learning Den highly enough.

He's made so many dear friends, he's learned so much and he's really developed as a human being. That's all because of Discoveries. The entire team at Discoveries is so committed to developing little ones in the most optimistic and thoughtful way possible. The facilities are so cute, a beautiful lil world for kids to explore, learn and most importantly laugh! Despite some of the needed changes during Covid, the entire team was so incredible at making the experience as natural as possible. We had to spend three months in Santa Barbara in 2019 for family reasons, and wanted to take advantage of the time there to let our 19 month old get socialized in a pre-school. We live in LA, so naturally compared Hope 4 Kids to some of the places we've looked at in LA, like CEE, Christopher Robin, and numerous other really nice, 'fancy' pre-schools. Hope 4 Kids is nicer than them all, and provides an amazing foundation for kids to learn. The 'outdoor education project' approach of the school has led the school to build an incredible outdoor classroom, and the kids are always engaged and having fun while learning, mostly in the outdoors. Teresa's enthusiasm for this outdoor classroom initiative is contagious, and from the moment we were introduced to the school we were certain that it was a great choice for our son. The faculty/student ratio is really low, and every teacher and teacher's aide we met was highly engaged and held to a really high standard of care for the kids and professionalism. We love this school and were so sad to leave Santa Barbara and H4K. It's an amazing place. (please also note that we are not particularly religious - this school is affiliated with a church, but operates on basic human principles of a respect for others and the beautiful world around us)

Right off the bat she took the pretentiousness out of wine tasting and made it feel relatable and approachable. It was very free flowing we could stop, ask questions and interrupt, go on tangents if we wanted to. I would highly recommend doing a class of hers.
