I was on a week long vacation with some friends and we were staying in Bethany Beach. I am an avid WWE figure collector, and am always looking for stores to checkout when I travel. This store is awesome and has such a wide variety for all collectors. The store was very organized which allowed me to be able to see items easily and not get overwhelmed by clutter which can be common in these types of stores. The staff were very nice and helpful and even struck up a conversation with me about the figures I had picked to purchase while I was checking out. What a cute little gem this place is. First though, I have to mention the address currently listed on yelp is not correct. They are located at 117 Atlantic, which is about a 1.5 from the location listed. I did mention this to the guy I spoke to when I called to see if they were still around so hopefully that will be corrected soon But once we did find it, we were pleased we took the detour to check it out. Lots of fun toys from many different eras and fandoms. Everything is well organized. It's not hard to figure out what is where. Thought it would be more video games but I was wrong. A few Nintendo games but a lot of new and old toys. This seems to be the place for all your toy needs. Like collector ones. Some used. New. A mix of new and old! Wasn't what I expected but really cool. And actually reasonably priced. I price matched with Amazon and it wasn't even a dollar difference BUT I supported small business and got it NOW. Actually, it was cheaper here thanks to NO TAX. Cool store. They take credit and fun. Cool store. No complaints. Saw it on Yelp when we took a short trip to Bethany from OC. Stopped in to check it out. Tons of old stuff, plenty of new. Got some DND and Pathfinder minis that I can't usually find at home (Baltimore) as some were from last year and the others are always sold out at home. Pricewise, they were over MSRP by 75 cents...but it's DE so no sales tax, it's a small store (and a niche item), and I'm at the beach...so I expect that. No problem, really. I first visited this store in February 2020 before the shutdown. During that visit, the store was completely different than today. This store is 90% "re-released" or new retro versions of old toys. has a nice selection. However older dark haired woman that works there is extremely rude. Doesn't want you to touch anything and if you do she's on you like a hawk. Had a selection of toys and cards, put them all back. and walked out. She Yelled at my 20 year old daughter not to bend individual cards that she was gently going through (like she was a toddler) Will never go to this store again and will pass the word of this experience. Back in July 2018 I was on vacation with my parents in Dewey Beach and one of the nights we explored Rehoboth Beach. On our way back to the Jolley Trolley we wanted to play Kismet that night (which we did not own) and we looked up places to find it. We found Yesterdays Fun Vintage Toys & Games which was located in The Shops Of First Street Station. When I walked in this place was simply amazing. It seemed to be a smaller shop but the amount of toys, games and other products packed it to the brim! There was so much to take in and so much to look at and best of all we found Kismet (with help from a very helpful employee who was able to track it down in the games section). The prices were fair too! Honestly, I would love to come back to Rehoboth just to go to this store! It definitely seems like a store where you can come back time and time again and find something completely new each time. Yesterday's Fun has been part of our trips to Bethany for the past ten years. When the kids were little we went for the Thomas the Tank Engine and Lego components. We recently stopped in for Pokemon cards and Rubiks speed cubes. The owner and staff are knowledgable and friendly and it's like visiting old friends. What I appreciate is that they'll play any game in the store to teach you how; this trip our youngest son was re-introduced to Bananagrams. We drove past the relatively new location on Garfield Parkway several times before we found it - conveniently located across from Off the Hook, one of our favorite restaurants - and connected to Drifting Grounds coffee shop. The coffee shop has several shelves of puzzles and board games to enjoy with your cup. We got our coffees to go and ended up playing Set for 30 minutes. If you're looking for it Yeaterdays Fun probably has it. From Playmobil to Atari video games to beach toys to board games to action figures to collectible Fisher Price you can spend hours exploring the shelves. read more

This place is great! We stopped a few times on summer vacation last year. They have a ton of old treasures here. The floor to ceiling displays of different types of toys and series from all over is really neat and the layout of the store lets you discover little hidden gems along the way. I saw so many different kinds of toys from my childhood, I left with a few well priced vintage pieces and of all things...a puzzle. They have so much stuff to choose from here and somethings you may have never seen before. My wife and I found this cool puzzle with all these 80s movies on it. It is a great store to visit! If you are looking for a toy store with the latest and greatest, this is probably not your store. This store is full of new and used toys from generations past, with a sprinkling of current titles. As a 30-something, I enjoy seeing the Starting Lineups figures, both in and out of original packaging, the Generation 1 Transformers, Legos, and a whole slew of other toys that were around when I grew up. Being so close to a family beach, this is a great place to visit with the kids, and there is a huge collection of board games that can be taken back to a rental and enjoyed by the whole family. Due to circumstances out of our control, my family has gone over a year since visiting Bethany. My 11 year old son has begged me to go back, specifically so he can play in this store again. He literally ranks this beach as his favorite between Nags Head and Atlantic City, solely for a toy store! My son's (and my) favorite toy store in the country. I have been to so many stores with classic 80's toys, everywhere from NYC to LA, and this is the only one that has reasonable prices on loose toys. Yes, there are plenty of nice condition, boxed collectables, but when your kid loves the classics and just wants some "vintage" Transformers, Superheroes, and Star Wars figures to play with, this is the store for you. We end up going almost every day of our vacation, because there are so many hidden gems to explore, and new stock all the time. As good as it gets. Game night is also recommended! read more

Two of my buddies are big vintage toy collectors, especially concerning Star Wars. I tagged along with them here as they were looking for a few hard to find items. Walking in you will be shocked by the amount of toys/games they have in here. There are literally things hanging from the ceiling. It was very nostalgic to walk around in here and see toys you had when you were a kid. It is also depressing realizing if you would have kept those toys, you could be selling them for a lot of money! There is a section in the back with old Nintendo and Atari video games. It is hard for me to rate this place since I am not a collector, so I will go by my friends reaction which was extremely positive. read more

It would be five stars if I hadn't been to both Big Fun locations (Cleveland and Columbus,) because Big Fun blows every other vintage toy store out of the water. This place was nice, with more newer than older vintage toys and prices that were a bit on the high side. Good prices and friendly employees, though. Next time I visit Bethany Beach I'll pick up a Settlers of Catan expansion pack here. read more

Great selection, great people. My brother and I went in looking for a new game, and barefooted Brendan enthusiastically welcomed us in. After a handful of excited questions, he pointed us to a couple of his favorite card games, and pulled one out to demo on the spot. He sat with us for half an hour and explained rules, played with us, and gave us tips for more nuanced game play. The rest of the staff was equally warm and welcoming. Great experience all around. Needless to say, we have enough new games to keep us busy this week, but I'd go back just to hang out at the store. read more
