Behold, Wall Drug's other famous gimmick: their 5¢ coffee!
    Quinn N.

+ Fun lil tourist trap in between destinations like Black Hills, Badlands, and Quinn. - Disappointed their famous "free ice water" wasn't even for glamorous show. It's just a regular ol' soda dispenser machine. Didn't even have an interpretive sign. . Well, at least their other famous attraction, the 5¢ coffee, has a lil sign, so that's something. - Tourist trap indeed. Nothing I want here. - Very crowded inside. + Ample nearby exterior parking. + Aesthetic interior decor. Lots of arts and details to admire as you walk about inside this big market. + Fun ambience. - I missed the giant mechatronix T-rex here. I knew about it, but I was rushing so much I forgot about it. + 8 150kW Tesla superchargers a 2min walk away. The Wall Drug Store is a convenient fun place to just walk around while waiting your charge. + A lot of cute girls work here.

Okay place to walk through. H Interesting history behind it. Clever decorations. Varied shops. Been there done that. The outside patio with the photo ops is fun. The best part are the historical photos in the lack building. Enjoy.

I Always Look Forward To Stopping Here! Love The Shops. The Food Is SO Good! Friendly Staff. Always Clean.

On our second stop we found the original areas of Wall Drugs. The restaurant has their famous five cent coffee. The restaurant attached is beautiful. The walls are planked with a beautiful ceiling and an order food that you can enjoy. Our first stop was in newer sections with everything you would want for outdoor gear or indoor fun activities.

Driving to South Dakota, you cannot miss all the signs for Wall Drug Store - so I had to stop and see what it was about. It's big, there's a lot to buy, and it feels like a 1980s dated tourist space. It did the job, it made me go, but I didn't see anything I just had to have from this place. I skip it the next time I drive to South Dakota.

This is really difficult and painful to give you a low score, but there's no other way to qualify your poor service and poor Quality. I had the buffalo burger, and it was dry as the desert. I am not sure if Buffalo meat is supposed to taste like that, because he didn't last time I ate some. We had the shredded beef sandwich, and it just tasted like something made in a hurry. The mashed potato tasted like boxed potatoes, and the gravy was not fresh, and it also tasted like something that comes out of a box as well. I enjoyed the blueberry pie. I also think the prices are way high for what you get, and the service was not as friendly as it should be. I used to enjoy coming to this place, but I'm not so sure I'll be back anymore.

This 1930s style drug store gave me Wild West vibes. There were statues of cowboys, horses, and a fantasy bunny with antlers called a "jackalope" and especially a dinosaur hallway and arcade inside. Even better, the singing mannequins were much similar as Toy Story 2.

This is a must see stop in Wall, SD! I was worried it'd be too much of a tourist trap. And it is touristy. But it is cool and historic, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable (certainly better than Cracker Barrel, and at least Wall Drug is a one of a kind!). I was there for the food, but the rest of my family enjoyed wandering through the shops and playing in the outdoor area. They really do have free ice water and $0.05 coffee. Mind you, the water is icy but not especially tasty (well water?), and the coffee is pretty blah, but it was charming that they maintain those prices. I had the fish and chips, and then I had a chocolate frosted donut for dessert. The fish was three small pieces, and one piece was over-fried, but the fish was flaky. It came with a pre-made, hyperprocessed tartar sauce, but one smell of that, and I decided to stick to ketchup. The fries were fine. My husband had a buffalo hot dog (he said it was fine) and the broccoli cheddar soup (he enjoyed that). The kids ordered off the kids menu. Condiments are all in single serve packets except the ketchup, which comes from a dispenser. You order at the counter, then you find a seat. There is seating for 530, which I imagine would be rough in the summer, but we were there in March, so there was plenty of seating and a very short wait to order or get food. They call your number when the food is done. I think I waited about 10 minutes, which gave me time to get drinks and read the brochure with the history of Wall Drug. There is a person who clears the tables, so you don't have to bus your own table.

This is the primary lunch stop for tourists and tour groups visiting Badlands National Park. It is packed constantly but they are very efficient at what they do. They are known for their hot roast beef sandwiches, homemade donuts, and homemade pie. We tried all three. The sandwich unfortunately was lukewarm. The pies are excellent, and the donuts are fantastic. The ambiance is crowded. The service is self service.

After seeing what felt like at least 15 billion billboards for this place along I-90, we figured we had to stop, especially since it seemed like one of the last major stops before heading into the Badlands. We arrived around noon on a Monday and the place was still packed. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and their special beef gravy sandwich, and both came out hot and fresh. The chicken sandwich was pretty standard, nothing surprising but nothing wrong with it either. The beef gravy sandwich was also just okay and tasted a little bland for our preference. Surprisingly, the soft-serve ice cream cone ended up being the highlight and was a nice treat before getting back on the road. Service was efficient considering the crowd, and the whole place feels more like a tourist attraction than just a restaurant, with tons of souvenirs and things to look at. Overall, it's worth a quick stop before heading into the Badlands, but more for the experience than the food.

Some people say this place is a tourist trap, but I actually found it very cool to visit. I stopped here because I was starving, and there's really not much to eat between Rapid City and Sioux Falls. It was a cold, rainy day, and I originally thought it was right off I-90, but it's actually about a mile or so after exiting the freeway. There were still quite a few people when I arrived. I entered through the main entrance and walked past a few gift shops before finding the café in the back. The café was nicely decorated for the holidays, which made it feel cozy and welcoming. It's an order-at-the-counter place , you pay first, then they call your number when the food is ready. The menu is pretty basic, mostly burgers and sandwiches. I went with a classic burger and skipped the fries and onion rings since I'm trying to avoid fried food. The burger was delicious, though that might have been partly because I was really hungry. I don't usually shop at gift stores, so I can't say I noticed anything particularly interesting there. If you do , I won't be surprised you stuck there for hours ... Overall, I'd say it's better than I expected and not as much of a tourist trap as people make it out to be.

"All in all, it's just another brick in the wall All in all, you're just another brick in the wall" (Pink Floyd) Ever see those kitschy billboards on I-95 in the Carolinas counting down the miles to join Pedro at his South of the Border tourist attraction? At their peak, more than 250 billboards counted down the remaining 180 miles. Well, Wall Drug has decisively crushed Pedro Palace's guerilla marketing team. That's because the billboards for Wall Drug can be found on an approximately 650-mile-long stretch of Interstate 90 from Minnesota to Billings, Montana. So, what exactly is Wall Drug? It's literally in the middle of nowhere in Wall, SD, where the city's 2020 census population counted 699 residents. It's a roadside attraction and tourist stop near the Badlands National Park. The complex includes a collection of cowboy-themed stores, a drug store, gift shop, restaurants, cafeteria, chapel, and an art gallery, On-line descriptions range from a "complete tourist trap" to "amazing". Think of it as a huge shopping mall for tourists looking for t-shirts, toys, pottery, art, clothes, novelties, etc. They are renowned for their chocolate, vanilla, and maple cake donuts, free ice water, five cent coffee, a backyard courtyard for picnics with kiddie attractions and some cool photo ops with a scaled down Mount Rushmore, a real stuffed Bison, and a 6-foot rabbit. Our tour bus topped there for a lunch and a shopping break, and we had a blast. I had a Bison Hot Dog ($9.59) that was pretty good! I found it to be awesome, a real treat for the senses, with colorful sights everywhere. Eat your heart out, Pedro......

Whew! Overwhelming and exciting at the same time. There was so much to see and do. We checked out the Wall backyard and had a great time with tons of photo ops. We enjoyed a quick bite in the dining room. We shopped till we dropped and played in the arcade. Parking is a little busy so have patience. We had fantastic time!!!

It's been a struggle the past 7-8 months to get the prescriptions from the vet. Vet sends them and the pharmacy claims to never have gotten the fax. So I have to call the vet again and have it resent. Then double check that they have the new prescription. That's a management issue that needs to be fixed. It's medicine for christ sakes! I got confirmation on the App and a text that my order was ready to pick. Today Saturday March 1, 2025 at 8AM ( I was second in line when it opened) , I went to the drive up window and a young African American woman looked it up on her computer and said we don't have a refill for you. I showed her both confirmations on my phone and she just continued to say we never had a refill for that medicine, She even suggested I was at the wrong Walgreens . She didn't even go look for the pill bottle. She is totally incompetent and her manager needs to take care of that! Unbelievable... I left and came home and got the bottle and took it to the Walgreens pharmacy on Mt Rushmore road and that lady looked it up and said its ready to pick up on Mountain View, I said I know but she won't give me his medicine.
