I'll make this one short and sweet. The drip coffee is some of the best I have ever had. The "Italian Stallion" is better than anything you will ever get at Starbucks. The pastries and cupcakes are out of this world. The service is quick and the location is close to the many hotels located within Vail Village. If you haven't stopped in here yet, do it! I have been here every day since I arrived in Vail and have no interest in looking for another coffee location. read more

This was a great yelp find and just down the road from the house in Eagle! I ordered the hot chocolate with whip and sprinkles paired with the green chile burrito to round out breakfast. My husband ordered the oatmeal with fruit and nuts. It was good, but I definitely out ordered him. I loved how they put the burrito in the panini maker to give it a little crunch and the side of salsa was delish! We will be back tomorrow morning and the day after! read more

Nice place with great pastry and good coffee. I ordered an espresso and it was very well pulled, then a Mocha and art latte was on top of it. I was a bit disappointed when I asked for a Macchiato and the barista just toped my espresso with foam. A good experience though! They have two beautiful La Marzocco at the bar. read more

My love for yetis is not a secret. I tell everyone how great this place is. It is by far the best coffee that I've ever had--this includes Starbucks, Loaded Joes, bookworm, and countless other coffee shops across the United States. It is a bit pricey--six dollars for a large specialty latte--but this is understandable considering what they must pay to rent space right in the heart of the Vail Village. This place is always packed to the point that finding a seat is Jen really difficult. However, most customers are only grabbing coffee to go so seating opens up very quickly. One thing that is highly impressive about this yet is location is how quickly you receive your drink. Their service is FAST! You would think the number of people in there would result in a much greater wait; this is simply not the case. They sell yetis apparel there and I can't believe I'm saying this but it's actually pretty cool stuff. Yetis is located on the ground level of the Solaris building I'm assuming they do not validate for parking in the Solaris , so your best bet is to park in The main-Vail public parking structure. it's definitely worth going a little out of your way to stop here. Cute little shop, but the espresso just tasted weird. Like it was made with coffee beans and not espresso beans, or with a very sweet roast of lighter espresso. Actual espresso taste was pretty weak and watered down. Coffee is also super expensive - $13 for two lattes (12oz and 20oz). The atmosphere is pretty cool, which is why it has a higher score than 1. The other thing that bothered me is the woman that was working was wearing high waisted yoga pants and a racerback exercise top that exposed so much skin. As someone who works in a coffee shop, this just doesn't seem safe, hygienic, or appropriate. read more

They have some seating inside and a great outside seating area as well right next to the ice rink. They are very friendly... if you are a local. If you're a tourist like me, you don't even get a hello. I went twice and ordered the same thing and each time it was different prices. Seems like they charge you according to what their mood is that day. Their eggnog latte was disgusting. Their hot chocolate, very good. Most pastries are very good as well. Great little place to sit and people watch or relax after hitting the slopes! We loved our cocomel lattes & they had a bunch of other fun flavored drinks for those of us who like caffeine treats! To our surprise though, they also sell and brew Sweet Bloom espresso which is primo! We stopped in at Yeti's Grind for a boost of energy after shopping all day. I orders the Italian Stallion (white chocolate And caramel latte) And my husband had the Lonestar (chocolate, with a dash of spiciness latte). It was definitely better than Starbucks, which we usually gravitate towards (go with what ya know, right?). We were able to sit outside and enjoy the view while we sipped our lattes. Could be one of the best coffees I had all year. Based in the heart of "New" Vail this small coffee shop really knows how to make a cup. Not too bitter not too sweet the coffee blend is just right. So forget your Starbucks and try this out you will be glad you did. Also as a tip if you think your going to park in the paid parking and get out before your free 7 or 10 minutes or so its not going to happen so don't fall for it or you will have to pay an extra $7 for your pop into to get a cuppa joe. read more
