Another week, another Yi Fang to try. This one on Kingsway is right beside Icy Bar. ShareTea is also across the street so lots of BBT competition. We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon (around 2:00pm) and had the whole place to ourselves. It's small inside but there's about three tables and a couple benches to sit at. Our drinks came out within 5 minutes of ordering. Drinks options are the same as their other locations although there seemed to be a couple new combinations. - Jinfeng roselle lemon slice juice ($5.50) - you can't customize this the sugar level but we opted for 30% ice. B found it sweet but I liked it. Smooth and floral; tasted like juice. - Grass jelly tea latte ($6.25) - nothing special about this drink (we opted for 50% sugar and 30% ice). Grass jelly did not taste nor looked homemade. Very mediocre. Wouldn't order it again. - Puli passion fruit green tea ($5.50) - O also added aiyu jelly ($1.00) but found the passion fruit a tad too tart for her liking. I had a sip and liked it; they use real seeds so expect that slight tartness. The aiyu jelly was also excellent. - Yifang fruit tea ($6.50) - S's order and he thoroughly enjoyed it. There's a reason that this is their signature drink. Stick with the fruit tea options at Yi Fang. Cash or debit only.

Tried this place out for the first time. Right when we walked in around 2:30pm, the cashier told us the brown sugar pearl latte was still available... crazy how they are used to selling out by this time. I ordered it since YiFang is known for the brown sugar pearls. I was sad you weren't able to customize it, I wanted to change the ice and sweetness. My friend ordered the black tea with aiyu jelly. Got our drinks within 5 minutes because there was no one else in the shop. The place overall is really clean with tables and benches on the side. There is no free WiFi. The presentation of the boba is nice. When I took my first sip, I wasn't amazed. The milk tea tasted bland. I don't think the tea was potent enough, it almost tasted watered down. The boba was still warm which was fine. I could slightly taste the brown sugar on the boba but it just mixes into the drink anyways. The pearls were wayyyy too chewy for my liking. It does come with a lot. My friends' black tea was good, but also way too sweet as regular 100%. I would come back to try another flavor. Just not the brown sugar, not worth the $$.

One of my fave bbt places to go to even in Vancouver. I often linger the Yi Fang shops in Southeast Asia. They opened up a few franchises here in BC. I am very glad they did. My goto drink is Yi Fang Signature Fruit tea and Winter melon with grass jelly tea. New drinks that I have tried are mango pomelo sago slush and for those who love fresh Taro, I recommend the mashed Taro green tea latte and sweet Taro sago milk (sai mai lo mmm)

I'm a fan of YiFang! I've been to many of their locations in Vancouver and California. Their brown sugar milk/brown sugar milk tea latte is my favorite ($6.50 + tax). The pearls are perfectly soft, chewy, and delicious. The tea sometimes tastes watered down, I wish they would add less ice. Xin fu tang tastes less watered down in my opinion.

Fiance and I have visited this YiFang location on two occasions. The first time was awhile ago.. we stopped by and tried their signature drink, which is the Brown Sugar Soft Pearl Latte. Neither of us are huge brown sugar milk tea fans, but this drink was decent. On our second visit, fiance got the Pineapple Green Tea with pearls. The Pineapple Green Tea was pretty good, but would get it sweeter next time (we got 30%, so would try 50% next time). I chose the Mango Pomelo Sago Slush. I really liked it. Super refreshing.. a great summer drink! The only thing though, was it needed to be blended more, as I was sipping small chunks of ice in the beginning. Overall, the drinks are decent.. but YiFang isn't our first choice when it comes to bubble tea. May come back to get the Mango Slush drink again before summer ends.

I really don't follow or drink bubble teas anymore. So is it good? I guess? We ordered a few different ones for takeout. The drinks were well packaged and sugar level and ice levels were honoured by our ordering. The place is small, with some stool seating and a couple of small tables. Overall, happy with the drinks and service.

The presentation is good, but the signature fruit tea is too sweet even though I asked for only 30% sugar. They also go our order wrong and the wait was wayyyy too long - took half an hour of wait to get three cups of tea. The service seems very disorganized and chaotic. Not sure if the black sugar special milk tea is worth it, but I'm not going back anytime soon.

I was hoping to order their Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Latte (had it before) but they were sold out I ended up trying the YIFANG FRUIT TEA (very good too). Nice location! There's a table with some seating. Good service and quick :)

粉圓鮮奶茶 (Pearl Black Tea Latte) Review: Okay there is a REASON why Yifang is a FRUIT TEA store. The milk teas there... big oh no. My friend Andrew ordered a fruit tea and it tasted GREAT and I ordered a milkshake tea and He finished his drink in like 30 mins and I didn't finish until like 3 hours later cuz I didn't waste my money. Thing is, I asked the cashier/ staff there for the most popular types of teas and she recommended these to us.... next time if anyone goes there please order fruit teas. I think the pearls there are pretty tough and small compared to other bubble tea chains. However, for the price they give you a lot of pearls so I guess you get you "money back" sort of. I don't really like the texture of the pearls there as it's sort of hard to chew and swallow and I think I may have indigestion from it I would recommend this place for fruit teas as Andrew's drink tasted really good :) Rating: 2/10 for my drink; maybe 8.5/10 for his

One of my favorite bubble tea places around the area. Great place to grab a brown sugar pearl milk or latte. They usually make them around 3 and 7 PM. It gets busy around that time with lineups. Try to go earlier or they will sell out fast. Prices are a tad more expensive than other bubble tea places but that's because they use real tea / organic milk. Hard to find parking around the area (in my opinion). They accept cash and debit only.

    a cup of iced tea

Drinks were terrible today. They ran out of pearls at 4:30pm so I ordered two Red Bean Black Tea Lattes which barely had any red bean. Nothing like the picture they advertised and their drinks aren't cheap either. Going to a different location next time as this one doesn't even honour their own points card.

Have been going here for 3-4ish years, same quality, theres been drinks i haven't liked but then so many i have but what I may not like could be another persons yum and what i like might be another persons yuck. We got one of those and a Durian Smoothie. I think we somehow missed the Greentea part of this drink cuz when we got it, hubby and I were both surprised at how green the drink was. It's only now that I look back at the photo I took of the menu that I realize the word Greentea was in the name of the drink so...not so surprising anymore that our drink was green. I honestly didn't taste much Greentea in it though. Mostly I tasted KitKat and Brown Sugar. Didn't taste any kind of Cheesecake flavor in it. It wasn't a bad drink but I think I prefer the fruity drinks that we've had from this place in the past. I think I'd have also preferred this drink to be slightly less sweet than it was. We brought our drinks home and had them while watching a movie. Hubby sat further back in the room while our daughter and I sat in the front of the room, but I could still smell the Durian smoothie from where we were sitting!

Selections are decent. however the menu is very confusing as they have a posted menu online, a digital menu via QR code and some posted menus. Unfortunately the menus were not in sync. My friend saw a couple of things she wanted to try from the online menu and was told they do not have those items. There are combo on the spot which are not their online menu and the digital menu. We ordered the chicken panini, a small mango bingsu and an order of tue mochi bubble waffle and taro milk tea. The food is very good. there is decent amount of ingredients in the chicken panini (which i forgot to take a picture of). The mochi bubble waffle was decent and i liked the taro milk tea as well. The bingsu was very well made but the price is a bit on the high end given the size. Overall service was good too

Located on the same block as quite a few other popular HK dessert spots, I more inclined to go to Rose Cafe because it's quieter and a more comfortable environment to relax and sit around in. The boss mentioned they can make anything for us (!) including ginger milk, the sago desserts and that they event have the pistachio paste (yum!). For a quick dessert run - I opted for the small mango shaved iced, it's served with nice and ripe mango chunks, and a fresh mango shaved ice base. For just about $10 it's worth the dessert stop! They had a nice menu of several classic HK items - from deep fried chicken wings, to bubble waffles to pearl based drinks that only HK locals would order. Worth a try if and when you're in the Nanaimo / Kingsway area! Also (!) - very reasonably priced flowers and potted plants!!!

This is one of the better boba spots I have tried in Richmond where they have some creative drinks…read moresuch as the ones with panna cotta and mochi. I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.
