While purchasing product here yesterday, there was a gentleman that walked in with hood up and a mask, covering everything south of his eyes. Staff made no attempt to have him uncover. For a business that sells a Controlled regulated product, you would expect to see staff enforce, uncovered, faces, and heads for proper identification verification. It looks like a robbery was about to happen. Security had said staff say it's ok if "regulars" come in like that, or even with an obvious firearm concealed, when there are clearly signs posted saying no firearms allowed on the property. I am very disappointed by my experience at Yilo. I called 2 days ago to ask when the sales are - she specifically said the weekend. The chocolate edibles are expensive and I live 45 minutes away so I need to go when there is a sale and I can stock up. I got to Yilo in Arcadia only to hear that in the 2 days since I called, they changed the policy and there are no sales on the weekend. The person Josh is going through a tough time obviously his dog had issues and it was just bad timing. I feel for the guy but you can't blame it on them because you don't know! One of the worst customer service experiences I have EVER had. From entering the building I was not greeted (not that I feel I'm a celebrity or anything) but it's kind of customary to greet a customers when they enter so I took it upon myself to say hello. I didn't get a response so I said it louder "hello... "hiii" and that was the precursor to a series of events that followed ...Not a single employee knew ANYTHING about their product looked at me with the most blank stare when I asked basic questions like harvest date, and if their gummy's were infused.... Then I decided to make it easier or at least I thought and ask well...Do you like "your" gummies? Do they have a good texture do they taste good, didn't even get a response. Just a blank stare; the gummy's by the way, taste absolutely HORRIBLE. They feel extremely old similar to being left out and exposed for months. Today I went and all that was available was Rhino Piss, which hits weirdly oily/harsh. Almost like an essential oil to the back of the throat. Gets ya high, so its all good, but that was my experience. But to only have one option kind of sucks.. and its happened a few times in the past. Same with limited different strains. The staff mostly consists of women.(I am 21 female). the Bud-Tenders really know about the products tgey sell and always, help me decide the best strains to fit my needs. I'm always greated with smiles and cheer which is most wonderful because I suffer from a few mental health disorders. Within 10 minutes I am in and out; I am made to feel right at home. I would have rated 5 stars but once i bought a thing of chocolate for a buy one get one free deal but there was zero effect. I recommend their gummy bears though i never have had a problem. Yilo superstore, where do I begin You have a convinient location and flexible hours. That runs til 10 at night. The building is modern indoors and the displays in the medication room are nicely layed out. Their are clones for sail. For juicing. That is sweet ! The flowers are not my favoritre, the prices are a bit high, for a decent smoke, and if you want some super dank it's 20 dollars a gram ( what is this high school ?) There are strains of the day, but never quality I would like to indulge in. I also dislike that there are no test results for crops they are selling. C02 oil is available at a reasonable price, I have not tried it yet but it looked clean and potent. Just really not satisfied with the flower situation.
