There was only one bed in the office in which Ms. Tina gave me a check up and explained where she would be using needles, and what each point would do. She was very thorough and exact. After she inserted the acupuncture needles, she covered the rest of me with blankets and towels, turned down the lights and left me to relax and doze off in peace. Eventually, I ended up having to finish early since I had to use the restroom from all the hydrating I had been trying to do earlier in the day. However, I was already pretty relaxed from the shortened amount of time that I received treatment. Since I left town shortly after that appointment, I haven't been for a follow up, but next time I'm in Tallahassee, Oriental Acupuncture with Tina is the way to go!

Waited half an hour post appointment time and had to follow up before I was attended to. Gave paperwork but had no initial consultation. I fact my chart was read wrong initially and she thought I meant stomach not shoulder. When that was clarified we moved to another room and i was asked to lay down on my side. I mentioned pain on right shoulder and neck area and back. only my shoulder/neck area was addressed. There was a cursory check of one part of neck and one part of shoulder. Only asked how long the pain was. She put about 4 needles and did cups quickly. Post treatment pain was the same. No questions about relief. Was sent to reception for billing and for them to take photo of my tongue. Should that not have been part of the initial consultation? Was given pills and charged 130 then she corrected receptionist to say 140 because of pills. By the evening pain was the same if not worse. I emailed and was told to drink more hot water. Pain is just as bad.
