There is an abundance of gym equipment, weights, space, etc. Surprised to also see so many bumper plates and squat racks! They even have a cinema room to watch something while you work out. The gym requires you to leave your bags in the locker room, normally I carry around some equipment in my bag to help with my workouts but I feel, you don't have to worry about not finding what you need. People seemed respectful of the gym and put things back where they belong. Not sure if it's always like this but I went on thanksgiving day. We used our family's guest pass to get in. We asked about day passes and they said $10/visit. Side notes: there was a children's play area for people who needs a babysitter while they get active. Saw multiple bathing suit dryers in the women's locker room, ample dressing stalls/bathrooms, showers, etc and super clean!

A little boy who was bigger than my daughter was allowed to tell her where to go and try to direct her against her will. The employee present did not correct the situation or ensure my child felt safe. As a parent, that was extremely unsettling. Staff should be paying attention and stepping in when one child is trying to control or push another child around. Allowing that kind of situation to continue without intervention creates an unsafe environment. On top of that, after I cancelled my subscription and informed them that I was cancelling, they still charged me for an additional month. Being billed after cancelling is unacceptable. Between the unsafe situation involving my child and being charged after cancelling, I cannot recommend this business. Parents should be cautious.

The courts are awesome, and the other competitors were friendly and welcoming, as well. We loved having the vendors to browse and shop for fun things and treats. You can become a member, or you can pay for the day. This happened to be a free weekend, and who doesn't love that?! I believe you can purchase gear in their shop, as well as, rent gear if you need to do so. In the area, Check Them Out!

Been driving by for a while and have meant to come see it and check things out. Last summer was crazy with travel and I was never home long enough to establish a routine. This summer, we're home and we finally made it over and have joined. There are tons of pickle ball courts, with more on the way. They have cameras set up to check the courts, and weather, and linked with multiple apps to sync up with others or drop-in play for the day. This location has plenty of parking and lighted courts at night where you can play well into the night without a set stop time (it says until last member leaves presently). They also host several tournaments here with cash prizes for the top 3 in each category. There are several membership (annual/monthly) options for single or families and Jim, the one who runs the office, is super nice and friendly and accommodating. They have rackets for sale inside you can try out for a game or two and borrow until you find what works for you - and they're very easygoing and friendly. Pickleball is a fun sport and seems to welcome all members and levels of play and it's a good workout. I'm in!

The courts were in great shape and the whole area felt tucked away and peaceful. It's never crowded, which is a big deal. We didn't have to wait for a court or feel rushed. I just love coming to this club. The Little Neck Swim & Racquet is a tennis and swim club. This…read morereview will only be for the pool which I am quite familiar. The club is very easy to locate, but it is way off the beaten path of Virginia Beach Blvd. Turn onto Little Neck Rd. and travel approximately five miles to the club on the right. There is great signage which will guide you in to their lot. Plenty of parking is available for members. However, on swim meet days, or events it is strained. Overflow has been at the church across the street. Behind the main house is a huge open air grass space for holding out events that could be tented. The pool complex is very nice. As you walk in you will see a guard shack on the left the main building on the right. The clubhouse has a kitchen, a large open air meeting space with fireplace and restrooms. It is nothing fancy whatsoever, but it's well maintained. Smaller type of indoor events could be held here. There is a nice large splash pool for kids in the middle that offers different depths and a mushroom sprinkler. Also included is a small tube curly slide that is a huge hit with the kids. The main pool is rectangular with no bump outs. There are two diving boards, a one meter and a meter and a half spring board. The pool is six lanes 25 meter guttered pool and it's a real beauty. The concrete deck space is massive allowing for very large swim meets to be comfortably held. Little Neck swims in the Dolphin Division of the Virginia Beach Swim Team and goes by the name "Blue Dolphins" They are consistently the largest swim team in the VBSL with over 225 swimmers. You must be a member of the club in order to swim on the team. LN is very good team that wins titles. The officiating crew led by Meet Referee Bill Gill does a great job preparing the pool for dual meets. This is my forth year assisting the team and I have found their volunteers to be accommodating to visitors. The club has always run a first class swim meet and most years host the final championship meet "All-Stars" of the season. Although I cannot vouch for the tennis portion of this club I can tell you the aquatics portion is really top notch and many of the members I know personally friendly. If interested in a tennis/pool club this is one of the nicer one you will find in Virginia Beach.

There is nothing that is overly exciting to me about Club Brittany. This is a pool only, no other…read moreservices are offered and the complex is in need of improvements. The pool is located in a nice 1960-70's residential area. I am unsure when the CB complex was built, but if I had to guess in mid 70's and looks it too. Getting the area can be complicated without directions since it is so far off the beaten path. Off of Great Neck Rd. turn on Inlynview Rd. and go approximately two miles to Five Point Rd. and make a left and travel to the dead end and arrive at the pool straight ahead. Parking is almost zilch at the pool. There is some limited parking in a grass area by a storage shed to the right by an abandoned basketball court. The majority of event parking is going to be street only which ends up going down the road over a mile. Once you arrive at the pool you will walk down a steep hill to the area. The complex is located off of a body of water, however I don't know what it is. The water closest to the entrance is stagnant and looks swampy. It also creates an environment for mosquitoes on warm evenings. Bring bug spray. The wooden blue building that houses restrooms is the first building you will see. The larger building beside it houses storage, concessions. Neither one are falling down by any stretch, but they are not great shape. The pool is rectangular with a bump out for a 5 meter spring board. This is the only pool among VBSL teams that I am aware of offering a high dive. This makes it very desirable for children and for good reason. The high dive is one of the biggest draws the pool has. The small deck is a combination of concrete close to the road and wood beside the body of water. There is also deck to the far end as you enter, just not very much of it making for chaotic dual swim meets when larger teams are competing. The pool offers a five lane 25 meter course for competition. At the shallow end around 4 ft deep, under the diving area approximately 10 feet. The pool is now open and ready for members, swim team practices and meets . Club Brittany is a member of the Virginia Beach Swim League and are the "Blue Tide: I only know one of the coaches who is awesome. They are lucky to have Carol Withus hopefully on staff again who is the ODU Swimming and Diving Head Coach. I have not heard to date if she is returning, but believe she will. A warming to parents with small children that cannot swim. The body of water just outside of the pool is not supervised by staff. YOU must watch you children, the water is only a few feet, but enough to cause a tragedy. Children that can swim should never play in this area. The water is disgustingly murky. The club needs facility upgrades to bring it up to par. However, it is up and going and meets my minimum standards and is safe. If I resided in the neighborhood this pool would be a great choice due to it's proximity.
