There was a lot of waiting-in-line-for-your-turn (didn't experience this at G-Force, Stingrays) and it often felt like the instructor was more interested in chatting with the students and getting them to laugh at his jokes vs teaching them skills. Some staff - high school students - were clearly not ready to be instructors. Jess is fantastic and my child learned a lot from her, but one teacher cannot an entire tumbling program make and we couldn't always get into her classes. We ended up moving to a program with a greater number of strong instructors who focused on clean form and consistent progression. There are better options in Ashburn.

Nova KinderCare stood out for both their opportunities while also maintaining the feeling of a small school, which we came from in Fairfax. We have been so happy here and cannot recommend it enough. From day one, the teachers and staff have been so welcoming, helpful, and prompt at answering any questions. My son has been fortunate to have a smaller class size which is so beneficial as he struggles with separation from his dad and I. Another great experience was potty training. Without my son's patient preschool teacher, Ms. J, it would have been so much more difficult. She was so understanding and helped him transition out of diapers smoothly. The teachers are so loving and clearly care deeply for the kids. My baby bursts into a big smile each morning when we drop him off with his teachers. We get daily updates on bottles/food and diaper changes, plus photos of him solo and him interacting with the other babies in the classroom. The facility is clean, and the admins are welcoming and also know the kids by name. We've loved TCA so far and would certainly recommend to other parents!

Chesterbrook Academy was the one that stood out the most to me for a few reasons. The most important thing was that I felt my child would be safe and loved on while I was away at work. They were also the most reasonably priced once all things were considered. They provide all the food, diapers, and wipes. If you want or need to provide your own supplies, you can bring those in and they will use them for your child specifically. My daughter has been going to this facility since she was 18 months and we have not regretted it at all. They help with potty-training and other cool tricks along the way that help them become more independent and self-sufficient. All of the staff are super friendly and know each child by name. The Infant teachers, both named Marissa, are wonderful - kind and caring. They open the school in the am so if you drop your kids off early, they will be ones to greet you and your child. Our daughter has learned a lot and made friends with many of her classmates. They really encourage children to be socially aware and responsible. The Principal staff have an open door policy which is very encouraging. The school offers Parent's Night Out on a monthly basis which we take advantage of all the time. As long as we are in town our daughter is in attendance! She looks forward to it every month. I recommend every one to go in and talk with the staff and get your questions answered. I was fortunate enough to have my mom watch our daughter until 18 months, but if we didn't have that option, I would have enrolled her at this Chesterbrook location as soon as I had to go back to work from maternity leave. I can call at any time, I can email and get responses almost immediately. They call if there even if my child gets a nose bleed or any other incident. I've recommended them to other friends that are having babies and would recommend them to you as well.
