The workouts are difficult but I was encouraged to lift the weight that I could handle and I was given specific direction on how to lift properly without self injury. They have aquatic aerobics five nights a week (that's what sold me) and a full schedule of all kinds of classes going all day long. Along with a nice pool, they have three fitness rooms, one of which is part of the women's fitness center. Our favorites were the wave pool and the lazy river. We didn't have little ones so we didn't use the kid's area. There is plenty of lounging chairs but if it's super busy these may fill up pretty fast. Luckily you can also set your stuff up in the grassy area too. These are my tips for visiting: 1. Best hours are between after lunch and close. 2. You gotta keep your water bottles, drinks, and snacks in the car. So pack a cooler for breaks or purchase from their snack bar (affordable prices & had 1/2 food after 5pm!). You can also bring in empty bottles to fill up. 3. Stay with your little ones in the wave pool. While our older kids loved the high wave hours, it can been rough for little guys. 4. Check Groupon, they were admission packs available! 5. The "toilet plunge" waterslide is a little rough for little kids, and kids must be 48" or taller for the water slides so they are great for older kids. And there is a specific kid area for the smaller kids! 6. Pack your own beach towels, sunscreen. 7. They aren't really any shaded area, so bring something, like a shade tent, to set up in the grassy areas if preferred.

Near the end of our visit, a young male employee was handling equipment and balls in a rough manner, and one of the balls struck one of my children. I was also upset by how the employee interacted with my kids. He was pushing past them and repeatedly yelling for us to get out of the building even though we were only a few minutes past our scheduled time. I understand businesses have rules and closing times, but I expected staff to treat customers and children with more patience and respect. The way the situation was handled made my family feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Because of this experience, I do not plan to return.

Not to mention the prices are crazy for this kind of condition. Everyone we have brought here today and even talked to has had something bad to say about this course. I NEVER received any confirmation text or call that it would be holiday rates when I made the tee times. Oh, except after I first got there and told this verbally, I magically received a text at 7:42 that it would be holiday rates! I asked about any kind of discount or break on the price and was told emphatically nothing they could do! And I called other golf courses around and no one else seems to be charging holiday rates.
