Being a fan of mushrooms they were excellent and had a nice crunch to them. The egg was just right and all in all packed with flavor. The bread deserves a review on its own. It's quince dense and has this charcoal taste. My friend ordered the Tartine and it was a wonderful mix of fresh, bitter and tasty ingredients. Just the right amount. Ambiance is trendy and chill, staff is friendly. Over all if come back and try the dinner menu.

The focal point of the bakery is of course, the counter. There is a paper ticket system for service on busier days. When I went in, it was quiet so ticket optional. The maple roll was densely packed and so much more than a snack. It's really bready so you could have it for breakfast. Slightly sweet and covered in a light glaze. The tart was light tasting and the pastry was full of buttery goodness. Texture is a little bit interesting because it's a cold tart, the juice from the pears soak into the almond paste and make it a little bit cold and slightly mushy. Some people might not like that but I found it ok. Service is friendly and attentive. Pastries are good but a bit expensive.
