I do not have enough words to describe how fortunate I was working with Yoav Astman! About 3 years ago I decided to buy a property and was working with a different agent. My first agent was very pushing, scaring me and convincing to buy a property that I was not happy about. I ended up buying nothing. A year ago I decided to shop for a property again. Having a bad experience I went to Yelp and after a long search, I found Yoav. He had about 10 reviews all 5 stars. I was skeptical at first but decided to call him. I said that I found a couple of condos that I would like to check out, but I did not have a loan pre-approval letter, not even a loan officer at that time, and was not even sure what loan amount I can get, only my rough estimate. I called a few other agents before Yoav and I was expecting to hear "no" again. But Yoav told me that he can show both properties within an hour. He also showed me a couple of other condos to get a better idea about current market prices. Then he referred me to a loan officer - Shayan Ali (who was great!!!). Yoav started showing me different properties while I was working on a loan application. He was very patient. Several times I had a problem with my car and Yoav picked me up and drive me to the property. My loan amount was no high, but my expectations were big. Yoav did not try to push me for anything. Opposite, he was advising me about remodeling cost and described main issues with properties. It took a year to find a good condo in my price range and Yoav did a LOT to make it happened!!! The seller's agent was not answering the phone calls and provided false information. Yoav helped me to fill out all the documents, he even called HOA to find out several details for me. Yoav also helped me to lower some escrow fees and told me if I will have any issues with the property I can contact him with any questions! Three days before the closing date we found out that escrow did not transfer the money on time and we have to wait one more day to close the deal, but I've already scheduled a moving company, Time Warner company and had to move out from my old apartment. Yoav was able to negotiate with the seller and they let me in before getting a final "OK" from the escrow. What an amazing service!!! Yoav was more like a good friend who really care about you, not just a real estate agent. Highly knowledgeable in his area, polite and respectful as a person.
