Was instructed by U-haul this was the closest drop location for my rental truck. Dropped off a U-Haul on Veterans Day as scheduled and they were closed. Called U-Haul to confirm drop off was done and left keys in drop box. Woke up today to see these liars hit me with a $70 surcharge!!! An extra day rental even though the truck was dropped off the day it was due. I guess they think they can just charge an extra day because they're closed. Not the way it works. Not only that but an additional "coverage" charge, to add insult to injury they charges an additional $10 for gas!The truck was to be left with 9/16th a tank of gas, so just a little bit above half. Which I left it exactly at 9/16 but they think they can just scam you for another $10, $70 in extra fees these dishonest thieves tried to hit me with. Well unfortunately for them I took tons of pictures and have already initiated the complaint with U-Haul and demanded a refund as well as reported them to the Better Business Bureau for scamming. Can't imagine the scummy business they pull on people buying used cars or needing a transmission fixed!! STAY AWAY!!!!

They were prompt to get my vehicle in quickly, amongst the many other clients they serve, and diagnose not only the visible damage to my vehicle but also the less obvious but equally critical parts. They also handle correspondence back and forth with insurance and are properly able to work with insurance to cover all the damage when the initial estimate wouldn't even cover half of it. I took it to Unique and the guy opened the hood took a look at the place where the bumper is connected to the rest of the car, went to the back of the shop came back with several pieces of hardware inserted them into the bumper. By exaggerating the findings, charging an exorbitant price and offering very little information to back up the reasoning. We had to press for information. That felt odd. BUT - they charge $139 to look at the vehicle then they do NOT waive that if you have the repairs done. Nothing illegal or unethical - just really BAD business strategy. And the final charge was WAY more than expected!! We found out later we would've saved a few hundred through our usual repair place. And it would've been guaranteed/warrantied. We only used Gary Johnson because of their reviews and the we thought the transmission needed specialized repairs. We should have stayed with who we trusted - we didn't know they did transmissions. So we will go back to Hometown Auto in Owasso. They are the absolute best, most honest around. And, they waive extra costs if repairs are done through them.

My experience with Danny's automotive was not a good one. I had my vehicle in this shop twice. The…read morefirst time was ok-ish, though I found personal documents left in my vehicle that raised some concerns about them driving my vehicle outside the scope of repairs. Needless to say, I was really paying attention the 2nd time I had to take my vehicle there. I say had to because the shop I really wanted was having technical equipment failures and Danny's was the only other option. When I finally got my vehicle back, they had put over 100 miles on it, kept it past the day they were supposed to have finished the repairs, broke my inside paneling to the point that it will no longer stay in place preventing the rear vent windows from operating properly, and stole my gas cap. My gas cap is a locking cap and rather than asking for the key (which shouldn't have been necessary as my gas tank is a 33.5 gallon large capacity tank that was just above 3/4 full with a digital readout of 305 miles to empty) they broke into it and kept the cap. I'll never again under any circumstances trust my vehicle in the hands of the folks working at the Danny's Automotive in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. One star because the scale doesn't have negative options.
