This is more of a rual and rugged resort not a five star hotel. The rooms are open air with a mosquito net around the bed. The beds are confortable and the views of the ocean from the room I had was amazing. I went with a group so did two pilates classes a day, I think they offer one yoga class per day for those not with a group running their own classes. The outings offered are fun. Hikes guided by someone that has a ton of local knowledge, Visits to local towns, whale watching, and bird watching. Take advantage of these! The resort is only accessable by boat make sure to bring everything you need. It is nice being at such a quiet and relaxing place. They've upgraded their wi-fi so there is wi-fi avaliable everywhere in the resort. I didn't do much on my phone but the internet was fast and seemed reliable.

After learning a bit about me and my classmate's experience with toga, she taught a gentle, meditative yoga class in English and Spanish. We came away relaxed and content. The teacher was very experienced, and the instruction was excellent. Since this was an advanced class, there were fewer students, which allowed me to receive plenty of adjustments. I will definitely come back if I visit this town again.

It did not disappoint. The class I took was power yoga with Tanya, it was a nice challenge, but completely accessible for all levels. The space was clean, inviting, gorgeous, open to the beautiful surrounding hills and filled with the sounds of birds- even if yoga isn't part of your regular routine I highly urge you to schedule this experience into your trip to Sayulita

We also celebrated my husband's party here with friends, and the resort did an amazing job. From the delicious food to the beautifully decorated tables, every detail was handled perfectly. If you are looking for a convenient, clean and safe place to workout during your stay in PV this…read moreplace is just the ticket. I can't speak for locals (who may have a different experience/expectation) but as a traveler I thought that the comfortable air conditioned workout room and ample equipment selection were great. It is a smaller gym but there are plenty of cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals and a couple of stationary bikes) as well as a good selection of machines and free weights. The locker room is clean and spacious. You do have to bring a towel or you can buy/rent one from the front desk. Although I didn't go at a peak time, the floor was pretty active with a few muscle twinks ("eye candy") who were polite but they did tend to hog key pieces of equipment (leg press and squat rack). Social distancing and mask wearing were strictly enforced.

I…read moreactually felt bad for them because they have to work at this dirty, dated, and delipidated gym. I don't think the owner or owners have invested any money in upkeep or maintenance. Several of the cardio machines are not working or not working correctly. Other gym equipment, like weight benches, had torn cushions and probably should've been thrown out long ago. The bathroom was especially frightening. I didn't even feel comfortable using the one toilet in the men's room, it smelt horrible and was very, very dirty. The sink looked like it was falling. Too bad because the gym is in a great location with a great view from the third floor. The owner needs to invest in his business or customers, like me, won't be coming back,
