I'm not a smoothie fanatic by any means, but PVR gets pretty hot and humid, so it's nice to have a tasty beverage that isn't alcoholic to cool you down. The Yogi Bar takes credit cards, didn't make me sick, is air conditioned, has wifi, and has a working (and clean) bathroom. What more can you ask for? The service was friendly enough (not "american friendly," but polite and patient), and there is an english version of the menu for everyone who failed Spanish in high school. read more

This is a cute little cafe where they serve fresh juices and smoothies. My husband got the beet it and loved it. I got the protein smoothie and modified it and then got the almost chocolate the next time. They were all pretty good. There is a yoga studio in the back. Really wanted to love this but I just want a refund, as this went straight into the garbage. The girl who made it was clearly new - there was no line and my acai bowl took 20 minutes because she was literally reading a recipe card. And although not ideal, I was happy to wait if it tasted good, like other bowls I tried in town. Spoiler alert: it tasted awful and ruined my day. The yoga class with Desiree was just what I needed. She cues postures very well and kept the class moving. The energy balls are amazing and I could have the avocado toast every day. I definitely recommend this place for both yoga and food. read more

This place is a nice balance to all the guacamole & chips I've eaten on my vacation. I tried a couple juices, a smoothie bowl & the cacao waffles. Everything was delicious. I did try a yoga class, which was just ok. The food is where it's at! :) read more

I was staying around the corner and was very happy to find a yoga studio I could walk to from my room. I purchased the class pass which was cheaper than dropping in everyday. I didn't use them all but it was still cost effective. Because I was on holiday, the schedule wasn't s big deal for me. Somethings to expect or not: classes do not start on time. It may be a few minutes late but if you're on a schedule, it could be problematic. Secondly, classes ranged from 60 minutes to 90 minutes, seems to be dependent on the instructor. Lastly, one if the teachers, while very good, did not mirror. Maybe not a big deal for others but because my Spanish is very limited, it made it very difficult. I would definitely recommend this place and the juices I had were very good as well. read more

Since discovering this place we've eaten here every day sometimes twice a day. It's a little slice of healthy-heaven in Mexico! We've had almost every menu item so I'll go into detail below. Our FAVORITES are the: Mean Green juice (so refreshing) Oatmeal (served w/lots of warm almond milk, goji berries & banana) Almost Chocolate Smoothie (they should call it almost dessert!) Avocado toast (2 small pieces of good toothsome bread topped with fresh avo, cherry tomatoes, ground pepper and a drizzle of olive oil) Their spinach quinoa salad is also excellent but has a mostly olive oil dressing so beware of that, or ask for it on the side. The quinoa and tomatoes are really most so it doesn't even really need dressing. They have a daily soup that hasn't changed in the last couple days that is superb. It's not thick or chunky like most soups, but it is warm and really tasty! The flavors are fresh and you just feel good after everything you eat here! Their Acaį bowls are all great too - large with generous toppings. We tried both the Cacao waffles and Matcha waffles and they've been the least favorite of everything we've ordered. They are a full size waffle that comes with a full sliced banana on the side. The Cacao waffles come with chocolate chips inside and out which I would've preferred not having at all. They have to be eaten there because they were inedible the next day room temp or cold. Maybe if you had a microwave or stove to reheat it would be better but we didn't. Overall, I appreciated that they even had Vegan waffles they just weren't our favorite. "Butter" (peanut butter) toast: Very good also, but really filling. The peanut butter they use is a thick one, not sweet but very good. The bread is drizzled with either honey or agave and then topped a thick layer of the peanut butter, thinly sliced bananas and finished off with chia seeds Note: They literally make every item as it is ordered so be patient as it does take awhile. But it's WELL WORTH THE WAIT! read more

While traveling, we have enjoyed finding Yoga studios to practice in and The Yogi Bar did not disappoint! We made it to the studio 3 times while in PV and the instructors for each class were amazing! Very challenging classes and fun to practice in another language too. I recommend The Yogi Bar while in PV. The juices and protein shakes are good too! read more

We have been to the Yogi bar several times and the reason is simple - the food is super fresh and delicious and the price is right. I agree with some helpers that your order will take some time but to ya it's always worth the wait. Plus I discovered this time that the Yogi bar is like many places in Mexico that take there time to do it right the first time. Sitting in their outdoor dining area looking at boats in the Marina and people watching drinking a vegan smoothie feels like vacation to me. If your in the area go there now so you can see what I'm talking about - and I'm sure you'll want to come back before you leave PV. Next on my list is to hit a yoga class - maybe today. read more

I practice Bikram and when I can't it's a rare find to discover a place like the Yoga Bar. It's a healthy restaurant and a yoga studio. Cold pressed juices were amazing. The yoga practice is good. Good place to chill and sip on fresh drinks. Takes sometime but the quality of the smoothie is worth the wait. Coming from other places, this was the only spot that gave us a purely fruity and filling smoothie. Very filling as well, if you are hungry come here. read more

Ordered a juice and an oatmeal. It's now been 45 minutes since my order and I have asked twice. I tried to get my money back but they told me it was being made fresh. It was only oatmeal, so why 45 minutes and counting. They are taking juice and smoothie orders and getting them out quickly, so I think food is the problem here. Food takes forever . read more

I had the best smoothie here. You don't know what smoothie is until you have theirs. Very creative and fun too. Also awesome vegan gluten free waffles., sandwich, soup and salad bowls! We had their food almost every day during our 2 months stay. read more

Absolutely LOVE the yogi bar. I go there at least once a week for breakfast. Delicious and fresh. I don't do yoga but if I did this would be even better since they have a yoga studio on site. The hit for me were the smoothies. Coffee was not great but that seems to be the trend here in Mexico. Overall a great breakfast when you are ready for something fresh and different. Has the acai bowl and husband the chocolate waffle with peanut butter and banana toast. It is so healthy and delicious. Plates are beautiful! That and waffles are gluten free, so that was great for me! Piña colada is something out of this world! They do take a while to serve you but is worth it because all is made from scratch and beautiful. read more

This is a nice little place for those who are vegetarian or vegan but frankly for anyone who likes healthy food. We loved the juices they made for us. We only tried the sandwich from their menu, and it was great. Overall, if you are staying at Marina, this place is conveniently located and offers some healthy options. They also have a Yoga studio, we did not use it but they offer regular Yoga classes. Overall great place, promoting health and wellness! Also, great staff! read more
