The teacher was very experienced, and the instruction was excellent. Since this was an advanced class, there were fewer students, which allowed me to receive plenty of adjustments. I felt great afterwards. The classroom is on the top floor of the building--open-air, but with a roof--so it feels like beach yoga with a shelter. Tanya was such an amazing and friendly teacher, I really loved her. There were people there of all ages- some locals and many travelers. The props were clean, new and in good condition. The space was clean, inviting, gorgeous, open to the beautiful surrounding hills and filled with the sounds of birds- even if yoga isn't part of your regular routine I highly urge you to schedule this experience into your trip to Sayulita

The Yogi Bar takes credit cards, didn't make me sick, is air conditioned, has wifi, and has a working (and clean) bathroom. What more can you ask for? The service was friendly enough (not "american friendly," but polite and patient), and there is an english version of the menu for everyone who failed Spanish in high school.

I can't speak for locals (who may have a different experience/expectation) but as a traveler I thought that the comfortable air conditioned workout room and ample equipment selection were great. It is a smaller gym but there are plenty of cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals and a couple of stationary bikes) as well as a good selection of machines and free weights. The locker room is clean and spacious. You do have to bring a towel or you can buy/rent one from the front desk. Although I didn't go at a peak time, the floor was pretty active with a few muscle twinks ("eye candy") who were polite but they did tend to hog key pieces of equipment (leg press and squat rack). Social distancing and mask wearing were strictly enforced.

The bathroom was especially frightening. I didn't even feel comfortable using the one toilet in the men's room, it smelt horrible and was very, very dirty. The sink looked like it was falling. Too bad because the gym is in a great location with a great view from the third floor. The owner needs to invest in his business or customers, like me, won't be coming back,

The staff is truly amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and happy. The rooms are beautiful, and most have incredible views that make the experience even more special. The food is outstanding, and honestly, there is no reason to ever leave the resort because everything you need is right there. The atmosphere is peaceful, relaxing, and paradise-like. We also celebrated my husband's party here with friends, and the resort did an amazing job. From the delicious food to the beautifully decorated tables, every detail was handled perfectly. It exceeded all of our expectations, and I truly could not have asked for anything more. We can't wait to come back again!

So glad we did! We were able to go in and just do our own thing, they had great equipment and plenty of room to work out. There was Jiu Jitsu class going on while we were there as well.
