I love the Barre! Kayla's class is the best and her legs are my life long goal. Gigi is a rockstar…read more I love that two women own this place. Super covid conscious, partitions in place with limited class sizes, feels very safe and mindful. Noticed differences in my body quickly!

The Owner's Kayla and Gigi are warm, friendly and make you feel comfortable from the start. The classes are challenging and do what they say they will. In just a few classes I felt increased energy, strength, endurance and a toned strong body (also received compliments )The instructors are the best and work to help you get in proper form and provide modifications as needed. No matter what your age ( I am one of the older gals) You can do it! and modifications help. Every body welcome! The studio is modern, clean and inviting with a beautiful relaxation stretch area and retail area. The new yoga area is beautiful and relaxing. I also enjoy the Saturday Vinyasa classes taught by Jessica it helps me keep up with my yoga and provides that extra stretch. The Buti yoga and HIIT Classes are enjoyable and challenging and provides more of a cardio workout. I highly recommend The Barre, you'll get hooked!

This is one of the best yoga studios I have tried!!…read more Justine told me about the studio where she works so I decided to try it and Loved it!Justine's classes as well as all the others are great. The studio is really clean and the items that are sold by the owner are of very high quality. There's tons of classes through the day making it easy for just about any schedule.

I live across the street & left my phone 5 miles down the road in Westport at my friends house. I…read morewas so happy a yoga studio filled with WOMEN was open at 9am on a Sunday to help me! Until I got there. I showed 6-8 woman my ID & a piece of mail w/my address (across the street) to prove my identity, asking for HELP from someone to call me an Uber/Lyft to my friends house 5 miles away (in 90°weather) & offered to pay them in cash for whatever the cost would be. One woman wouldnt even roll down her window more than halfway to speak w/me, one ran to her car while "listening" to me asking for help, she jumped in her car, locked the door, started her car then rolled her window down less than halfway to listen to me almost in tears as I explained that I could pay her & didnt need her to BUY my ride, but NONE of the 8 women I talked to would help & ALL claimed to not have Uber & acted like they didnt know what UBER was, they treated me like I was walking into their studio with needles sticking out of my arms, had a gun, asking them for money or their first born. If I went back home & put on my Lululemons carrying my LV & wearing Chanel Earrings, they would have helped, but bc I wasn't dressed to their "code" ATM, NO ONE would help me. I had mail showing I lived across the street, offering to pay the fees & even give them extra & not ONE woman walking into or out of that 9am Sunday morning class was willing to help me even tho I was clearly in distress, almost in tears. I'm 50 yrs old, I'm a nurse & was willing to pay for their help instead I was treated like I had a contagious disease, was trying to rob them & below their class level to help or even listen to me. I have never felt more judged in my life & to be left feeling the amount of judgement & helplessness I was in order to come here & leave a review DAYS LATER should speak VOLUMES to the way they have me feeling. As a 50 yr old woman, nurse, mom of 3 IN or ABOVE their economic status, I am disgusted by ALL these women I encountered. Age, race or ECONOMIC STATUS should never stop anyone from helping another in this situation. They all knew I was not dangerous in any way. I cannot imagine treating someone, let alone another woman clearly in distress this way. It's not like I was naked, holding a sign up asking them for money or even a ride. None of them even offered or allowed me to use their phone...the owner or person running the classes never spoke with me, introduced herself or even offered for me to use the Studio Phone. IDK if anyone reads these reviews, maybe I would have better luck on Social Media...I tried to message the studio directly & 2 days later, still have not received a response. If anyone reads these reviews, ask yourself, is THIS the ideology of a YOGA Studio you want to practice in? I understand being cautious, but this was 9am on a Sunday, I had my ID, Mail with my address, cash so I could pay them for calling an Uber for me & while "Yoga" is not "Church" this is no facility I would ever want to practice in.

I went to this studio for 2 years because I lived nearby and wanted to learn yoga. Now that I know…read morebetter, this isn't even close to being yoga! Teacher are "certified" by weekend auditioning for the owner, who is not certified to teach yoga teachers. All classes are the same: loud music, teachers yealling at students (some calling students b***s), a complete rush from one pose to another (which makes it impossible to know if you're doing it right), and a pre-rehearsed speach during 3 minutes of savasana. Sometimes the new teachers messed up the speach and had to start over. The teachers are doing the workout on a "stage" so they do not adjust (not that they are capable of with the lack of training) or give alternatives to people that can't do a challenging pose. Lastly, they used to have big parties giving out free classes (with no expiration!) to people who came to the party (and posted on social media), but refused to honor any of the free classed/months I had saved up when I tried to redeem. This is a total scam and nothing like yoga. I wouldn't even recommend it for a normal workout class.

After going to this studio several times, I can't bring myself to go there anymore. It is…read moreaffordable but it certainly comes at a price. Instructors here don't have Registered Yoga Teacher certifications. That leads to bad form and potential for injury - especially when every class is heated. There are a few instructors that give great classes (Brittany, namely). The owner is super materialistic and says "we don't do that weird shit here" - like, the stuff that actually makes yoga a spiritual practice. Also started unnecessary drama with a local competing studio. So, if you want what you pay for, go to the cheaper studio. The owner will keep showing off her Gucci everything and laugh at how people keep falling for her scam.
